"Superb hotel in excellent location"
We spent a very pleasant two nights at the Oban hotel. The staff were efficient and cheerful, and the hotel was clean and comfortable: the public areas very tastefully decorated in a very unusual style. The location was perfect for exploring the region.

"Beauiful hotel in a beautuful town."
My husband and I stayed here for our 50th anniversary. We were upgraded to a suite and given a bottle of champagne. That was a lovely touch, much appreciated. Our room was excellent. Staff were accomodating and welcoming. Our only negative was one rather snooty staff member at the Escabèche Restaurant, questioning us as if we were a couple of hobos trying to steal a meal. Everyone else was wonderful. We saw two superb plays and did quite a bit of shopping, including the purchase of some delicious local wines. It was delightful to return to The Prince of Wales Hotel after a very busy day.

"Absolutely luxurious facility."
You feel welcome and catered to from the moment you step in the door until the minute you leave. They really go the extra mile. I went to the on site restaurant and got salads and tea for a late dinner in our room and the server carried the tray right to our room for me, they have free shuttle service to and from town which is not quite a mile away. Beautiful pool with pool side service for lunch and beverages. Very pretty and comfortable room, the nightly rose on my pillow was a nice touch. Lovely flowers inside and out. Very helpful desk staff. We were there in May and went back for Labor day weekend so that should say it all.
