We totally needed a weekend getaway and The Red Coat turned out to be absolutely everything that we desired. The house is old, charming and beautifully restored, the hosts are welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the room up in the eaves was a cozy suite with its own sitting area and hot tub - the perfect escape. When we came down the stairs to breakfast in the morning, we were greeted by the aroma of cinnamon baked pears and homemade waffles, which tasted as good as they smelled. It had snowed (unexpectedly) during the night and one of our hosts cleared the snow off of our car because he heard us saying that we had forgotten to bring a brush. Wonderful people, wonderful place. We recommend it highly.

We stayed at the Lyons for one night the past weekend for our wedding anniversary. We were charmed right away by the beautiful garden and the decors inside the house. The room was very clean, and we also got a bathroom with jacuzzi. Howard extended a very warm welcome and was extremely helpful to recommend places/restaurants for us to go. And if all of those didn't impress , the breakfast the next day was another Wow factor. Two thumbs up to our hosts for making us feel right at home! We will definitely recommend Lyons historic house to anyone!

Great quality furnishings and very friendly owners and staff. Pool is available for use of guests and the breakfasts are superb with a different hot course each morning. 5 minutes walk to the centre if the town. We stated in the Dytch suite which has a sofa bed so can accommodate three. I highly recommend the Paradise Grove.

We stayed at Green Oaks for 2 nights. It was our first experience at a B & B. The host, Trish, was very accommodating and knowledgable about the area. She served a delicious breakfast each morning according to our needs. Upon our return to Canada we would defintely stay here again. We had a wonderful experience at Green Oak Bed and Breakfast.

My husband and I love to do small get-always and The Harbour House is our favourite place to stay when visiting Niagara On-The-Lake.
Not only is the location perfect, the rooms and staff are too.
The rooms are beautifully appointed, there is a wine and cheese happy hour in the beautiful lobby which feels more like a lovely living room complete with comfy chairs and a fireplace, and one can not go without mentioning the lovely European breakfast.

We had been recommended to this very homely and interesting bed and breakfast and it certainly lived up to expectations. Everything was cooked freshly for us at breakfast and there was so much variety. Would recommend to anyone having a little time after a visit to the Falls. The autumn colours added to the experience.
