Convenient Location, Property Needs Updating
Big construction site right across the Street made for quite a lot of noise though nothing the hotel could control. Front desk personnel are friendly & helpful. Property is worn & needs renewing. Great location near restaurants, bars, grocery, public transit. Easy walk to Old Nice. Be cautious of purse snatchers & pickpockets in the area.

Out of pure desperation we booked this hotel. This is the single most sketchy and dirty hotel we have ever stayed in. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

This was single-highhandedly the dirtiest hotel we've stayed at in the Nice area. There was black mould all over the bathroom and the hotel in general was dirty. The area surrounding the hotel is very unsafe at night. We ended up leaving after only one night.

Room with a balcony which should have been nice, but other folks staying there were out on their balconies middle of night smoking, having arguments; a generator ran a few nights - no cleaning, no clean towels - definitely not a hotel, but an apartment living arrangement. The woman who hosted the breakfast every morning was very nice! Folks at the front desk were nice too!

As you have comment, we are not a traditional hotel and propose an Apart'hotel concept, offering flat instead of rooms, and different cleaning services.No cleaning and towels'change are included during a stay under 8 nights. Only the departure's cleaning is included.From 8 nights reserved, a weekly cleaning is included.We are sorry that the guest staying next to your flat were noisy. This Adagio was just fine for our travels. The room was pretty big for a hotel room and had a little balcony overlooking a courtyard. The little kitchen was small but efficient. Our only issue - and not the fault of Adagio at all - the city is tearing down a huge building across the street and the sidewalk was all torn up. The hotel is right around the corner from the major tram line - close but spared the noise it creates. Nice itself is wonderful!

Very basic but good location.
The property was basic and rather dated. The living area was large and had a table for eating. The thing we missed most was there was no where suitable to dry our towels. There was no ventilation in the bathroom to allow our towels to dry. It would have been nice to have a towel radiator, perhaps the next time it will be refurbished they can provide this. The location of the property was close to a tram stop. The outside of the property looked like you are in the middle of nowhere, but in the parallel street behind the property is a very busy high street with plenty of shops. There is a large Centre Commercial about 10 minutes walk away, with a huge Carrefour.

Staff are very unfriendly. Some of them are rude. Terrible customer service. Hidden cost, you have to pay $20 for cleaning which you discover there after you arrive. To change the towel you have to pay $5. Old furniture. The building is depressing. The kitchenette is super small. I will never go there again.

Ideal for old town
We were disappointed on arriving after a long day travelling that there weren't any teabags or coffee. We stayed in an appart hotel in Bordeaux which had this, so expected the same. We found the room small and cluttered. There was a unit that was inutile and made it difficult moving around. The bed had a plastic mattress protector that was so thin it didn't serve it's purpose as just ruched up and made an uncomfortable nights sleep.

Great location
this is a basic tourist hotel. Its in a good location in a not too busy area. Tram 1 runs up the street behind. Plenty of shops and food outlets nearby. Hotel staff are very helpful. The rooms have a small kitchenette so you can prepare breakfast and snacks. We stayed 7 nights and made it very affordable.

good location, three minutes to tram, convenient to all. balcony pleasant view. bedding comfortable, wardrobe expansive. staff members friendly and efficient, good service, excellent English, would store your luggage free of charge for early arrival. yet refrigerator makes disturbing noise at night. would be perfect if room had full-length mirror.

We stayed a couple of days with our two young children and had a great time: the location is very convenient, equipment and facilities perfect for a family (there is a little corner with books and toys for children in the lobby), and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend!

Good location near bus and tram lines. Room was very cramped. However bed was comfortable, very good hairdryer, towels and shampoo provided. good water pressure in shower and easy to use. staff were friendly. Code access to get in front door. Only 1 lift for 7 floors. cramped coking area but good utensils provided. TV has very limited english speaking channels. Lidl supermarket near where you can get groceries at a reasonable price

The room was clean. The temperature was good. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had everything we needed. The first room we were in the bed was wet from a leak in the ceiling but when we reported it the guy was very helpful and within 10 mins he had given us keys to another room.

1. Ladies will not like this location - the only mirror in the room is a head and shoulders in the bathroom above the hand basin which gets all steamed up after showering - so many people were commenting on the lack of a full length mirror in the room - I even heard a couple of girls saying they were going to the elevator to get a better view. Such a small point but so important for the ladies. 2. On day 2 I reported that the shower tray was not emptying - we were left standing in 50mm of dirty soapy water. Day 3 I mentioned again - it didn't get resolved until the day before departure -really not a good response. 3. We ALWAYS book a breakfast but when we arrived at about 0100 we were informed that breakfast was not included in our booking so being so late we ordered one for the morning - how disappointing - 9 euros each for a very sparse selection so I was glad in the end that we could make other arrangements - to be fair this mis-booking may have been the fault of Expedia but the food offering was rather paltry. 4. The hob - some rooms have inverted heat controls - so you have to turn the knob anti-clockwise to increase the heat - we spent more than an hour trying to boil some eggs and had to get reception to help - even they were unaware of the problem. Oh and make sure you you put the timer on - else nothing happens - it does mention this if you happen to read the card...

Room was fine, location is not bad, 5-10 mins walk to old town, 15 mins walk to beach. Someone had obviously been sick in the corridor near our room. It had been cleaned but a foul smelling stain left behind... Not great. Disappointed yo find the parking full when we arrived so had to park 20 mins away. My fault that though really, bad planning..

Immediately opposite the Acropolis - great for trade shows. But WiFi was unusable. They said it was a long-standing problem, and they are "working on it."

Very central to all areas of Nice,most being within walking distance. Once you have your bearings Old Town 3 min, Place Garabaldi 2min, Promenades Des Anglais 10 min (Castle end). Modern & Contemporary Museum 1min. Shopping area & Port 5/10 min. Day trip - Monaco Bus 100 is at the Port area €1.50 single fare, very scenic journey, Cannes Bus 200 further up the Promenade €1.50 single fare & takes almost 2 hours (we got the train back)Travelling back to the airport by No98 bus stop(€6 single fare)bus is a 5 min walk & takes 25min (We took a taxi from the airport on arrival €40!!). Studio is compact & contains cooking supplies, cutlery/delph etc,bathroom a little on the small side(they also have a handy laundry room) Staff here were very helpful & friendly from initial email enquires to reception requests. I would highly recommend the Aparthotel. ****

The location of the property was good - not far from Acropolis and Nice-Riquier train station. The rooms were fine as expected but the toilet was a little cramped - there was very little space between the toilet and the bathroom door. The amount of soap in the soap dispenser was not sufficient to last for 7 days. The staff at the front desk were at best indifferent and not very welcoming. It was a comfortable stay otherwise though we wouldn't probably come back to stay here again.
