QuirkyPosted Mar 6, 2015
Pros: Grounds and friendliness
Cons: A general re-furbishment plus draw customers to the difficulty in finding the location.
Location: As above 5 mins by car to airport and 10/15 mins by bus or car to centre.
Firstly you need directions. The hotel is situated in a modest residential area about five minutes from the airport by car and fifteen minutes by bus or car from the centre of Nice. The directions from the receptionist by telephone were not helpful and it took us an hour to find it. Almost a colonial look greets you with attractive grounds. The reception area and bar are functional. The receptionist was a character as was the very helpful barman. We did not eat at the hotel. The room was described as superior. It was roomy with a view from the window and small balcony. The soft furnishings were dated, the curtains for instance were two feet too long. The bathroom was tired but clean. For Nice the price was the equivalent of the chain hotels near the airport so value for money was OK.

very nice location and noise freePosted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: very homely and a place to relax.
Cons: larger bathrooms would be good and new room fittings.
Location: close to the centre of town and walking distance to Airport and the Promenade des Anglais
enjoyed our stay at the hotel, quaint and restful surroundings.
