Great studioPosted Nov 10, 2013
Great studio accommodation for myself but maybe a little small for more than 1. I liked having my own cooking facilities and jug since I was travelling solo. Tram is very close to take you into the main sights and the beach front but otherwise it's a nice easy 20-30min walk. As a solo female I felt safe walking to and from the apartment.

Good apartment, well located.Posted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: The hotel had everything you need in the kitchen and the staff was welcoming. The location was pretty convenient.
Cons: The shower was dirty and the bathroom didn't have ventilation. The rooms were oddly furnished so that the closet couldn't be used.
Location: The train station and tram stop are very closeby. There is also a supermarket and you can reach the beach and old town by foot.
This hotel/apartment was close enough to reach the beach by foot but also close to the tram. The address itself is difficult to find as the number listed actually belongs to an abandoned building. The area looks kind of sketchy as well. The place was clean except for the shower.

Hotel located close to public transportation.Posted Oct 2, 2013
Had bad experience, when we arrived at 7:30pm reception was closed ( it should be opened till 8 pm). First time with car in this Hotel - recepy for disaster: no proper explanation during booking how to manage self parking.

In general, it was a good experience.Posted Sep 14, 2013
Pros: Good location, clean, close to restaurants, coffees, stores and public transport.
Cons: Get wireless internet in the rooms instead of just the front desk at the reception. Get a safe to avoid people taking all their values with them.
Location: The hotel is close to restaurants, coffees, stores and etc and 30 mins walk to the beach or 10 mins by Tram.
When I got there to check in it was 21:00 and their office was closing for the day at that precise moment but the guy who was closing it decided to check me in anyway, which was good for me otherwise I would have nowhere to sleep during my first night. He tried to find my name in his computer's system and he couldn't find me, although I had paid in full before my trip I started panicking. Eventually he gave me a room and said there was a mistake. I asked him whether he had received my fax explaining I would be arriving at 21:00 and he replied they have no time to check fax or who is sending what to who because they have so many rooms and it would be impossible to do so. The room was comfortable, clean, good size. The hotel is well located close to public transport, supermarket, restaurants, coffees and etc. I didn't like the fact this hotel has not a safe because I had to carry with me everything valuable, not because it wouldn't be safe to leave my stuff in the room, it's just because so many friends had things mysteriously disappearing from their hotel rooms all over Europe and for this reason I didn't want to take any chance. If there is no safe I take my belongs with me such as passport, money, watches, jewellery and so on. Perhaps it would have been safe to leave them in the room but I will never know it. Another strange thing was the fact that their wifi internet only works at the reception therefore everyone has to go there to check e-mails.

Not Nice in NicePosted Sep 13, 2013
Location: I did not care about location as I had a car to see places.
Part time reception very annoying and unhelpful. Rooms dirty and smelly. Bathrooms smell of dead mice. Linen is not renewed. A/C does not work. No wi-fi in the room. Wired Internet very slow. Electrical appliances are old and few do not work. You have to pay for your car parking. have to stay there to find out how awful they are. I saw the reviews before I booked it. There were mixed reviews so I thought people who did not like this hotel were a bit biased against it. I have to say they were right and I wasted my money on it.

Don't expect too much!Posted Sep 11, 2013
Pros: Trams were close by as well as a couple of well stocked supermarkets.
Cons: Reception manned better to facilitate late arrivals etc; a housekeeper to check cleanliness and ensure rooms are properly stocked with basic items
Location: The hotel is situated quite far out from the main attractions and there is nothing to do near by.
Arrived at 11am after an early morning flight to be told there was no booking in our name. We were reminded that check-in wasn't until 3pm so we left our luggage and wandered around Nice for 4 hours. On our return the receptionist said she was still having difficulty in contacting Expedia. Half an hour or so later the booking was confirmed. First impression of the room was good, the beds had fresh sheets and the kitchen was compact but clean. However the bathroom floor was very badly stained. Switching on the kettle we discovered there were no cups! My partner had a shower and used the last of the shower gel. We asked at reception for soap and cups and were assured they would be placed in our room later that day. When the cups hadn't appeared by the second morning my partner asked again. The receptionist looked in several rooms but with no joy. At my partner's suggestion they 'borrowed' a couple of cups from the breakfast room. We ended up buying our own shower gel as we knew it would never materialise. During our 5 night stay our room was never cleaned nor were we given fresh towels. On our last day we left our luggage in a locked room at reception but on our return at 1pm discovered reception was closed until 3pm. We'd a slight panic as we'd a flight to catch but fortunately a hotel employee, possibly the caretaker, was located by Russian tourists attempting to check in and he opened the luggage room for us. Wifi was only available at reception and was sporadic.

Nice-been before and stayed in apartment before-quPosted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: Price and its clean. Has free internet access.
Cons: Doors difficult to unlock sometimes and no emergency number provided if you get in difficulty.
Location: Location a bit of a walk from city but near to Garibaldi square which is a lovely place to sit and have a drink. Supermarket just around the corner.
Apartment is basic but clean and you get what you pay for -its small and functional. Bit of a walk from the city so may not suit eveyone but for us its perfect-tram stop out side.

Stay with a familyPosted Aug 19, 2013
We spent 4 nights in the Hotel. It was very dirty, especially bathroom was horrible !!!!! It was disappointing as the hotel is quite knew. The Staff was not helpful at all (I asked to print a couple of pages and they refused saying they have no time to do it !!!) Be extremely careful as the reception is opened during working days ONLY and only mornings and afternoons. If you plan to arrive late do not do it as the key codes system does not work at all (We arrived late and there was no room for us) They speak mostly French so it is very difficult to communicate. In my opinion it should be rather a HOSTEL not a HOTEL. It is overpriced a lot.
