“I can't wait to go back to Monaco”

The hotel is above average for Europe. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a big construction of light rail in front of the hotel, it'll prpbably be finished by summer. It's a wonderful place to visit. I would love to go back again.

This was a great hotel! Our room was HUGE! High ceilings, a huge window, separate entry with the bathroom, and plenty of closet space. The hotel was very clean. There isn't much in terms of extras (no pool, bar, or restaurant). It's about a 20 min walk to the beach. The hotel is located on a main street in Nice within walking distance to a supermarket, stores, resturants, and the train station. We got a great deal on expedia and were very happy with our stay.

“Good Downtown Hotel In Nice, France”

We arrived late and the parking for the hotel - across the road in a public parking lot - had closed at 9:30 pm so we had to park on the street and move the car first thing the next morning. The room was freshly decorated and a very nice two-storey affair. The night desk clerk was brand new and did not know where we could park or how to hook up our room phone for service. He was kind enough to lend us his own cell phone to make a local call. Both he and the day clerk spoke English and did their best to be very helpful. This is not a good location if you are driving as the road is a pedestrian precinct and Nice is a frustrating maze of one-way streets. The tram goes right by the front door, which is handy. The hotel is central for shopping and art galleries and close to the beach and the Old Town.

“Decent choice”

I have stayed for 2 days to spend romantic vacations with my wife and the hotel provides a great satisfaction to my wife which made me happy. The staffs in the hotel were very friendly. One drawback to this hotel is that there is no parking garage. If you do not have a car traveling with, it would be a great stay.

Great location on the center street, ten minute walk down to the beach. Room was awesome. Same could be said for the staff - helpful and pleasant. Parking was a bit expensive, but nice and secure inside a garage.

“Nice Hotel on a Busy Street”

The hotel staff were superb...friendly, helpful and truly interested in making our stay pleasant. The room itself was fine...clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is on a very busy main street. It would be fine for a business trip but as tourists we would prefer a different location. But the room was quiet there was no street noise at all.

“Unexpectedly Pleasant!”

I was surprised by the overall appearance of the hotel for the low price we paid for our room. The foyer was very nice, and our room was nicely decorated and very classy. The bathroom was nice too. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. It was in a busy area of the city, but very close to the beaches, downtown, etc. I'd definitely stay there again!

“Nice is definitely Nicer with a stay at the Best Western Alba”

As a quick weekend getaway, we intended to stay central and this hotel was definitely the perfect combination. Quiet and close to all the shopping and historic beautiful buildings and market.
