Terrible stay across the street from train station

Posted May 23, 2015
Pros: Nothing.
Location: It is a sketchy area at night, and next time I'll make sure to book a hotel closer to downtown Nice, only 10 minutes away. Also no restaurants near by
I choose this hotel because I was in transit and needed a place close to the train station. I was not expecting anything fancy, just a clean, quite room. It wasn't either of them, actually, there was no soap provided, and I thing that says it all.

no recomendable

Posted May 15, 2015

Posted May 11, 2015

Very near the train station but about 20 minute walk from the promenade. If being on the sea is what you want this is not the place to be. I wanted to be near the train station. Nice French style breakfast, rooms are small but clean an comfortable as are the bathrooms.

Pros: I booked this hotel because it is close to train station, but I will not recommend it for other travelers.
The room is OK, but the plumbing needs some work. The sink and tub drainage do not work properly.

Close to train station

Posted Apr 4, 2015
Pros: Price and convenience.
Location: A few minutes walk to the train station. 20 minutes walk to old town.
The check in clerk was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a little worn looking and the room felt crowded. The breakfast buffet was good, although the dining area felt crowed.

Amazing staff, clean and comfortable room

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: The staff was definitely one of the best of all my travels.
Location: The hotel is in a central location to easily walk to the Promenade, as well as in the opposite direction to the Chagall, Matisse and Arch Museums.
I booked the smallest size room at the BW Riviera, however it was so exceptionally clean and cozy, with French doors opening onto a juliet balcony, that I felt comfortable right away. The room includes amenities not often found in European hotels like in-room coffee/tea service and a mini-fridge, and has a wonderful breakfast buffet. I originally booked it for 5 nights, but I loved it so much I stayed over a week.
