“Nice looking, modern hotel, but lacking in amenities & conveniences.”
Very much like a high end, pricey hostel. Everything is self-help, no room service. But they do provide complimentary bottles of water & juice in the room. There is NO door on the toilet. The bathroom is all open. Only for couples who are not shy about using the bathroom in front of each other. But who wants to SMELL each other's toilet expulsions? Everything else I can deal with, but not having an enclosed toilet area is a deal breaker for me. Far from the Old Town, but close to the beach. Far from the train station. Overall, not a convenient or central location. For first timers to Nice who don't have cars, I would recommend staying closer to the Old Town area. Oh and doesn't provide body lotion or hair conditioner so be prepared if you stay here.

“This hotel is more than nice in Nice!”
We spent Christmas and New Year in Nice and loved our home away from home. The staff makes you feel welcome, is attentive and extremely helpful, they'll go out of their way for you. The location is perfect, on a one-way street, just a few block from the sea, and about 15 minute walk to the heart of the city and the train station. They have a great steam room, which was super after a long way of walking, and also, there is a pool on the roof which would be great in the summer. Unfortunately it is not heated, so we couldn't take a did in it. The view from the roof is worth a visit up there even in the winter months.
