Great value and locationPosted Sep 22, 2013
Pros: Location Staff Comfortable room
Cons: Change carpet in room
Location: 2-3 blocks from main square as well as pedestrian shopping street. 8 mins walk from the beach.
Got to the hotel at 10:30am - they had the room ready in less than 30 minutes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is about 5 mins from the train station and a couple of blocks from many of the attractions. Highly recommend.

excellent location, comfortable hotel.Posted Aug 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed here with family for 4 nights in July 2013. I stayed here before, 4 years ago and the hotel was as comfortable as before. The rooms are small but clean. The bathroom is modern, bright, fairly spacious and clean. The hotel has an excellent location in the centre of Nice, close to the main high street shops, short distance to the station and the beach. The breakfast is continental and has everything you could want including hot food. It's not a luxury hotel but much cheaper than a 4 star hotel in Nice. It's comfortable and convenient. I would stay here again.

Satisfactory as facilities not terrificPosted Jul 29, 2013
Cons: Size and asthetics
Location: Good for shopping, 10to 15min walk to beach
Described courtyard view was of an alley basically! Furniture was not much more than painted plywood. Staff however were very friendly and helpful

Poor service, dated, and dreadful housekeepingPosted Jul 20, 2013
Cons: Housekeeping service was dreadful.
Location: Location is ideal for shopping, and it's close to the Nice train station.
Our room was small, dated, and had a noticeably musty smell. The housekeeping service was dreadful, and often simply forgot to replace items in the room. On two occasions we were missing towels, including none on one day and a wet towel on the other. The room was never vacuumed during our 10 night stay, and the bed clothes were never replaced. On top of this lack of service, the walls were very thin and we could often hear our neighbours. The carpet in the hall outside our room was thin, and showed many patched areas and stains. I would not recommend this hotel for anything less than an emergency.

Last day in France before returning to USAPosted Jul 12, 2013
Pros: Location, location, location. Did I mention location?
Cons: Small rooms, but this is Europe.
Location: Walk around with a sea of tourists around you. Vieux Nice, Promenade des Anglais, Marche des fleurs, Souvenir & Luxery Shopping, Bistro & Restaurants.
Hotel is perfectly located in Center of all tourist activities going-on in Nice. It's a comfortable, quite, clean hotel located in a safe neighborhood. Good value for Nice.

Boreal, For - RealPosted Jun 28, 2013
Pros: Beds were comfortable, close to train station, Cable television with English channels.
Cons: Hotel was small, tidiness of hotel could be improved.
Location: Excellent Location, near promenade, shops, main shopping areas, train station, etc.
Cleanliness- The hotel was relatively clean. However, the towels that the hotel provided still had hair in them from the previous user and there were minor unknown spots in the pillow cases. Staff - The staff was helpful and spoke solid English. However, there was an instance when my toilet was stopped up and needed plunging they continued to tell me it was fine. However, it continued to back up. Comfort - The room was small, yet relatively comfortable for one person (two mid size to small couples.) Condition and upkeep of hotel - The hotel was relatively clean and overall good hotel. For the price, the hotel was a solid choice. However, I will continue to search elsewhere on my next visit.

Great LocationPosted Jun 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
However, the bed was quite small and had a slant in the middle. The bathroom was very clean. The hallways had not been vacuumed in some time. The desk staff were outstanding with recommendations. A great location.
