Small hotel about 10 minutes walk to the grotto.

Pros: The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to the grotto and there are a lot of shops and restaurants around it.
Cons: The living room with the sofa bed and the dining table could have more space so the guests could move around and sit properly while eating.
Location: The hotel is close to the grotto and about 5-10 minutes to the train station. So many stores and restaurants close by.
We got to the hotel around 9 pm and the hotel receptionist was nice enough to have waited for us since the reception closes at 8:30 pm. The master bedroom was alright but the space in the living room where the sofa bed was and 2 in our group were going to use for their sleeping quarters was just not enough. You would actually be sitting on the sofa bed to be able to eat at the dining table which is in front of the sofa bed. On our second night the bathroom facilities stopped working. We informed the front desk and was told the plumber will be called the next morning since it was late already. When we were leaving the hotel to go to the grotto, we reminded the female front desk. When we returned to the hotel, she was kind enough to give us the key to the next room so we could use the facilities if we need to until our own bathroom will be fixed. We did not have to use the other room since by afternoon our bathroom was working again. The hotel reception is not open 24 hours. It closes around lunchtime and at 8:30 pm. It was an inconvenience since we planned to do laundry at the hotel at night after our day's activities since when they leave they have to turn off and close everything. Hotel management should take a second look at this service to where the guests are free to use the laundry at their convenience. The good thing about this experience were the 2 front desk personnel who were patient and kind in their willingness to assist us.

Nice hotel close to everything

Very quaint hotel close to everything, Promenade Anglais, flower market, shops and train stations. We were able to visit Italy for the day and it was very convenient to get around. Great restaurants all around. The staff was extremely helpful and the rooms were very clean. I would recommend.

Pros: location
Cons: kettle in room
Location: promenade anglais. old town. main shopping street. train station for menton, monaco or cannes is bout 20 to 30 minute walk away.
stayed here in february during carnival time. the hotel is in great place, less than 5 minutes to the promenade anglais and only 5 minutes from old town. room had was at front facing the street but at night room still was quiet. bed was comfortable, room included fridge and safe, only wish there was a kettle in room. as no bar or cafe in hotel, breakfast was an option which didnt have. plenty of bars cafe and a macdonalds within a minute or two. staff were polite and friendly but other than check in and check out had no reason to speak to them

Good budget hotel

We booked this hotel for a cheapish trip to Nice to watch the rugby. Really impressed with its location, close to the main train station and promenade and right in the middle of town. A little bit noisy come night time so maybe not ideal if you're hoping for a quiet relaxing time but excellent value for money. Nice friendly and helpful staff who were pleased to accommodate out change of sleeping arrangements.

Love the chandelier in the lobby. Great service. Really helpful staff at the front desk. Easy to walk everywhere. 10min bus ride from the airport on bus 98. Loved it!!! Would stay there again. The breakfast wasn't anything to write home about. Definitely not worth 12 euro. So we didn't eat at the hotel but chose to eat elsewhere.

Pros: It's location and the size of the room .
Cons: Include breakfast in the price or give special offers . The carpet in the bedroom was nothing special .
Location: Next to cafes and restaurants and very close to the beach.
The hotel is in an excellent location. My room was on the fifth floor . It was quiet and comfortable enough. The furniture was adequate . The bed was fine and the bathroom was quite spacious . The breakfasts were fine but were the same every day At 12 Euros it seemed initially quite expensive but when you think that you can have fruit juices, croissants , egg and bacon , cereal and coffees it works out cheaper than having the same at a nearby cafe .

Nice Place to Stay

Hotel was attractive and clean. Our room was on the 6th floor with a window near the ceiling and therefore not able to even see what the weather was like. Although the weather was nice during the day, it was quite chilly at night. We tried to put on the heater and had difficulty doing so. Tried to call the main desk but the phone had no markings indicating how to call the reception desk or anywhere else. So I went downstairs and told the desk clerk that my heat was not working. In a very clear and sassy French, he told me that there is no heat in my room and that heat is turned on after December 1st. Well, am I glad I wasn't staying there in mid or late November or I would have needed an army sleeping bag to keep from freezing. Back to the desk clerk: Then I asked him how does one dial the reception desk to which he answered: Press 9. Well, thank you very much. I only had to go 6 flights down to find out.

Very convenient location. Walk to shops, bus to airport, along the water and to the casino. Friendly, accommodating staff. Room was small but clean and quiet.
