Good location, Access to attractions goodPosted May 15, 2014
Pros: Easy access to railway and town attractions. Pleasant city to walk around. Lots of eateries and fun markets
Cons: Being a hostal we were aware of having to share a bathroom. Unfortunately the bathroom was 2 levels below our floor.
Location: Old Town, Park and villa, markets, train to Monaco/Monte Carlo and seaside towns. Beach.
Hostel was close with an easy walk from the main railway station. Very central location which made it easy to get around the town by walking. Lots of eateries nearby. Staff very helpful and attentive.

Friendly staff, reasonable pricePosted Apr 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
I was thoroughly impressed by the accommodations here. Centrally located, very convenient. I knew it would be a small room, as most rooms are around here, but it was still brightly decorated, clean, and modern feeling despite the limited space. The staff was very friendly and I would definitely stay here again!

Bedding soiled and we demanded new sheetsPosted Apr 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
location OK for station and main shops but a lot of homeless people and drunks begging in the side streets.
Not very far from Gare de Nice VillePosted Sep 6, 2012 on Hotels.com
A lot of plus points for this hotel. Very close to tram line, eating joints and not too far from the train station. The quality of hotel service was excellent. We reached a few hours before checkin and the man at the reception kept our luggage and allowed use of the common toilets etc. Also helped us with apapters for the non-European ipad/phone chargers. I think the price was alright for the peak season. Room and bathroom was spacious enough for three adults.

Misterious machine noisePosted Jul 25, 2012
Pros: location - close to train station
Cons: strange hum, shower drain, elevator
Generally enough to survive the night. With some issues though. I stayed 2 nights. My room's windows looked out onto the rear side with some noisy airconditioning units from adjacent hotels and restaurants. Windows were decent enough to cancel that noise but then I realised that there is another strange low frequency hum within the building. I checked and it was present at top 3 floors on the rear part. That was unbearable for sleep so I reported it to the receptionist to his astinishment and deep ( maybe fake ) suprise. Couldn't help me with this matter so I came back. Fortunately I had earplugs but didn't have to use them as that hum stopped at 22.30. Next day was OK but I had a little affair with congested shower drain.

It's in a very convenient location really close to the train station. I didn't have problems with it until the second day I was there, I woke up in the morning with 6- 7 bug bites. Wasn't sure if it was bed bugs or something just crawled on my bed. Overall, the hotel was ok for a two-starred hotel, maybe I just had bad luck.
