Ok for business

Very basic small room, wifi works good in the room I stayed in on second floor. Air conditioning works and the room was cleaned daily with clean towels. The only negatives were no coffee or tea making facility, parking was limited and restrictive and the bathroom was very cramped. Staff were very friendly.

Poor service, smelly moldy rooms, old beat-up furniture, the heat barely worked, too far from everything, but great view of the sea if you are lucky not to be given one of the 3 rooms in the damp basement.

Nicely located, kind of cramped

The Flot D'Azur was perfectly fine. We stayed in a little bungalow out back, with 4 people. I think most of the cost goes into location: We were on the beach, one block from shopping/food, and only a 30 minute walk from Old Town. For all that, the price was fantastic. The staff was exceedingly helpful at all times. The room itself was tiny; the "room for 4" had one double bed and two bunk beds. Those were a little difficult for fully-grown adults to manage, but we did. One other thing: The wifi didn't really reach our room, either. Overall, it was very nice, but be ready for it.

Hotel location for my needs was perfect

Pros: We like it best that it's literally about 25-30 yds from the beach and 1 mile from the downtown/tourist area. If you like complete quietness while sl
Cons: A better Wi-Fi system as I could not get internet access from my room. Bigger shower door as the floor is completely wet after shower.
Location: Everything for tourism is within 2-3 miles. The beach is across the street. Grocery store is 2 blocks away.
The room is a little small, but clean and comfortable. Staff was great. Everyone is very friendly and speak English(except for the maids). Everyone is very helpful with all the questions, ie, where to eat, where to sight see, which bus to take, etc.

Pros: quiet, peaceful and well placed.
Cons: the doors will not stay open - you need to pry them just to get your luggage through and the wifi wouldn't work on the second floor.
Location: although towards the other side of the town - take the city bikes for a euro and get down to the center in 5 minutes. great view.
well situated staff helpful well priced soaps sheets towels provided good water pressure interesting shower/toilet arrangement in room but manageable.

Perfect location on the beach with a very helpful staff. The room was a bit small but not uncomfortable as it was just right for 2 people. Walking distance to many shops and restaraunts and public transportation.

THe scarriest and ugliest hotel i've ever been in, I didn't stay!

Posted Sep 19, 2011
First, the staff wasn't at all nice or anywhere near that. Second, the pictures of the room showned on website are misleading. The photograph we saw were photos of the best room in the hotel but the actual room we got looked like a rat-hole. Plus, the room wasn't clean, it smelled of damp fungus. Third, they have named that ugly room "Third level courtyard type" ... a very misleading name without any description about the room. Fourth, the room can be viewed from outside because they only put up thin materials on their glass door. Anyone who has a spare key could just walk right into you while sleeping! Overall, very unreliable hotel, bad service, horrifying room and its very old house condition (it was definitely a house!). DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, YOU WILL REGRET!

Close to the beach

Nice little hotel right across the street from the ocean. 4 of us shared a small room that had 3 beds and our own bathroom. The walls were paper thin and we could hear our lively neighbors. But otherwise a nice place. A bit difficult to find for us. Make sure you have clear directions. Also, a great little internet cafe located pretty close to the hotel. 20 minute walking distance from the main hub of activity. But seconds away from the beautiful beach. Nice was Nice! We enjoyed our stay. Less tourists than everywhere else we visited in Europe. Felt like we were truly on vacation here.
