Great hotel good atmosphere great location.

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: The condition of the hotel was excellent, the atmosphere good for the time of year. The room was larger than expected, very clean.good maid service.
Cons: More hangers in the wardrobes, better quality loo paper. Carpets will need replacing shortly. More consideration with regard to in house prices.
Location: Location great, could not be any better. plenty to see and do.
Made welcome from start to finish of our break. very helpful staff. Our room was excellent with great views of the promenade and museum. Great soundproofing windows plenty of traffic but we did not hear it.The bed was just fantastic, slept like a baby! The hotel is a 4 star so we expected a reasonable price for the breakfast and evening meal but they were far to expensive. We had all our meals out, except one. The restaurant was great and food was of a good standard, pity that it was to expensive.

Lovely hotel in a brilliant location

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Loved the location - great for early morning runs to the port. It was also very near some great, cheap restaurants and a short stroll to the old town.
Cons: Could have done with a meeting place or bar at the hotel. We missed all having somewhere to congregate. Also, my room had a separate toilet, no basin
Location: Trips to the old town and the castle, rail connections to Monaco and Italy, bus trips and rail trips along the coast and into the mountains
We travelled in a group of 44 and were made to feel most welcome - the hotel even had a board welcoming Bramhall Runners which was a great touch on arrival. The rooms weren't ready as we arrived well before midday but they had arranged a conference room for us to leave our bags. The rooms that we were allocated were varied. Some had sea views, some had views of a wall, some were larger than others but all were clean and with good facilities.

Great hotel. Brilliant location

Hotel in the main promenade des Anglais. Short bus or taxi trip from the airport. 10 minutes walk to the old town and train station. Friendly staff. Room spacious & modern (although they vary). Complete with bathrobes and slippers. Very clean. Rooms a bit on the warm side (considering it was cool outside)

lovely hotel, good staff.

Posted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: Everything, just about.
Cons: Don't leave nuts etc outside the minibar if they chargeable.
Location: Fabulous location for all of Nice- Musee Massena next door.
We were offered a room with a 'better view' without asking (we declined, our choice of room had a bath, the 'better view' had none). Lovely room, if small, but great bathroom. A kettle and tea/coffee made it perfect!

Superb Views and Location on Promenade des Anglais

Posted Feb 9, 2015
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Superb location within reasonable walking distance of Old Nice. Convenient for transport options. Good value
Cons: The bath with overhead shower lacked any handrails. The Le Siecle restaurant table d'hote menu was very limited and did not change much.
Location: Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby off the Promenade providing good value quality food .Old Town within walking distance.
Arrived ahead of check in time but room was made available. Reception staff were pleasant, courteous and very helpful. Our bedroom on 3rd floor had a small balcony overlooking the Promenade and sea. The room was of a reasonable size with the usual facilities, free wifi and tea/coffee provision. Traffic noise was minimal with shutter and double glazed balcony doors. The room was spotless and maintained that way for the 5 nights we stayed. We did not have breakfast in the hotel preferring to use a café nearby.

Nice hotel accross the beach.

Posted Jan 30, 2015
Pros: very clean and helpfull staff
Cons: place to store your suitcase in the room
Location: Everything is walking distance and all the to do things are nearby (bus for site seeing etc)
Very nice and helpfull staff. The rooms are clean but a little small, could not store my suitcase (depends which room you are in I think) The bed and pillow were a bit to hard for me but in general I am very pleased with my stay and would recommend it , thumbs up.

Nice location, poor every thing

Posted Jan 3, 2015
Small rooms with a split bathroom, not convenient! The WiFi is useless with poor signal. Expensive breakfast, extra charge. The only thing going for this hotel is the location
