Wildly overrated 2nd-floor walkup in nice locationPosted Feb 4, 2012
All rooms hear noise from main hall, though street outside is quiet. Blanket is dirty, sheets not. Room 1 bleeds cold from outside, room 3 doesn't. Room 1 bed is maybe the size of a surfboard.

absolutely fabulous - close to the heart of nicePosted Oct 18, 2011 on Hotels.com
great environment, with a myraid of restaurants and cafes in the area. 3 minutes' walk from the train station. the decoration of the hotel revolves around the vintage theme, which was subtlely carried through very nicely... very personable and kind hotel owner... this place is absolutely recommended.

Great location, service and value!Posted Sep 19, 2011
Booked based on other reviews and it lived up to the positive reviews. Friendly service, nice room, en suite and balcony. Location was spot on, close to the beach and old town. Would go back again!

Perfect location, lovely decor, but thin wallsPosted Nov 21, 2010
This small boutique hotel has the perfect location on a pedestrian street close to Old Town as well as the water. We had been forewarned about the two flights of stairs to get to reception so weren't fazed by it. The decor of the lobby and rooms is lovely -- very tastefully appointed, and they maximized what is a typically small European hotel room. We had a small balcony overlooking the street, as promised, and a mini-laptop through which we could check our email (very useful!). The owner was very helpful, providing guidance on the area. We opted to have breakfast brought to our room for 2 of the 3 mornings: the tray is artfully presented, with a hot beverage of your choice, pastries, baguette, butter and jam (yes, a lot of bread -- that's why we went out for eggs on the third day!). Our only complaint is that the walls of the rooms are very thin -- you can hear every conversation going on in the lobby or hallway, and we could actually hear our neighbor urinating in his bathroom. Overall, an excellent value, the perfect location... just keep your voice down!

Heaven in the Cote D'AzurPosted Jun 8, 2010
It's doesn't get more charming, more french or more magnificent than Le Petit Trianon. The owners are wonderful, welcoming and very helpful, the rooms were immaculate, modern but cozy. The laptop computers and internet exceeding our expectations, would love to go back, for months and months on end!
