Hotel near beachPosted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: Good location, reasonable sized rooms, huge opening windows, well maintained bathrooms. Plenty of seating area downstairs and free WiFi.
Cons: Wall and floor coverings in the room could be improved, a little sad. Mattresses a bit worn too.
Location: Sit on the Promenade des Anglais and just watch the entertainment. You will see everything!
Reception Staff were friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff kept the bathroom spotless and our room tidy. The location is excellent, being only minutes from the beach and we enjoyed sitting there at any time of day, watching the sea or the antics of the population. Good selection of restaurants nearby, Turkish, Tunisian, Lebanese. Good varied breakfasts also available in the vicinity. Hotel breakfast was generous and nicely presented but lacked variety.

It was quite ok for that kind of money.A little bit smelly, but very good location, good value for money.

Nice staff, shame about the hotelPosted Oct 18, 2014
The location was convenient for the beach and the staff were very nice but the room was in need of redecoration. The room smelt, the toilet wasn't fixed to the floor and the beds were badly mishapen.

Nice Hotel by the BeachPosted Oct 4, 2014
Pros: Location to beach, A/C and WiFi.
Cons: Would benefit from a renovation.
Location: Beach very close. A bus stop that connects you to all major sites/ facilities.
Very close to the beach but a good 20 min walk to Place Macena and the old town. Hotel needs renovation but still clean and quiet. Room and bathroom fairly large. Good air conditioning. Hair dryer ok. Hot water fine but small shower head. Little sachets of soap and shampoo supplied. Wi-Fi worked fine. Only French tv available. Breakfast included apples/bananas, yogurts, cornflakes/ Coco Pops, baguettes/ croissants/ pain AU chocolate plus tea/coffee - worth the 8 euros IMO. Bus stop right outside and you can connect to the main train station/ port/ Place Macena and Old town and Cap 3000/ airport. Hotel staff quite helpful and friendly.

Very good locationPosted Aug 31, 2014
We were 4 people and got the big room on the 1st floor next to the street. Surprisingly it was noise isolated and we got a good nite sleep. The room was spacious and the bathroom was good. Our stay was very comfortable. The day staff was very curtious and english speeking the night staff not so much. The location of the hotel was awesome. One block from the beach. 15 minutes walk on the beach to the old town. The bus to the airport was right around the corner. Number 23. The ticket was 1.50 EUR. There was food and grocery stores in the vicinity. If we go to Nice again we are staying there again.

Water pressure in our room was non existent. But it worked for a place to stay for the night that was close to the beach.

Close to beachPosted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Close to the beach Bins emptied every day
Cons: Showers, cleanliness and friendliness.
Location: 3 minute walk to beach Loads of activities on sea front Fabulous architecture
Room no 2: very noisy as right next to the stairs and lift Very close to beach, 3 min walk. Spar shop round the corner Only an hour walk form the airport, yeah really, which was lush when arriving at 9:30 am and walking along the beachfront the whole way : ) Only 1 member of staff was particularly helpful and friendly. Was told to hand my key in every time I went out. Glad I kept my key (which weighed a ton) with me as when I came back at 9:30 one evening, all the keys were just laid out for anyone to take. Bed was clean; a MUST! Shower curtain too short for shower so flooded nearly every time. Disgusting stuff in sink when I got there so left taps running until it went Train to Monaco - 20 minutes and $7:60 return Train to Cannes - 40 minutes and $13:40 return Both absolutely lush places and what a bargain for travel! Simply must trips! Would I go to Nice again? Yep! Would I stay in this hotel again? No

Great locationPosted Jul 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
Lots of restaurants, supermarkets, and 5 minutes to the beach! Room is small and outdated because of the carpets, but gives a good nights sleep. Good value.

A bit tatty but very well locatedPosted May 27, 2014
Excellent location, 100m from Promenade des Anglais. Room big enough but dated and in need of an upgrade. Inexpensive for location. Staff on reception pleasant but with little knowledge.
