Nice hotel - more like a boutique hotel

Posted Nov 25, 2014
Very nice hotel, looks more like a boutique hotel. Is has a good location, you have the view of the sea across the street. Very friendly personnel, small rooms, but very comfortable.

A base and that's it

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Room nothing like the advertised pictures, with smallest area to sit despite paying for superior room! Bath so tiny it was just used as a shower which in itself was useless because the shower head wouldn't stay in one place so only washes the walls! Despite telling the hitel staff nothing was rectified!

Good Location/ Poor Facilities

Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: Location is very good
Cons: Quality and Cleanliness of the Rooms
The location is very good close to the sea and near all the main sight seeing places. This hotel should be a max. 3 Star rating, instead of 4 Star based on the quality of the rooms. The room facilities for 'Standard room' is very poor (2 star). There are no elevators or concierge service in the hotel with no proper lobby / bar/ restaurant area. The privileged rooms are better (3 star)

a broomcloset without a view.

Posted Oct 12, 2014
Pros: staff
Cons: Better to just knock it down and build another hotel.
Location: On the oceanfront and boy do they make you pay. Not worth it. Traffic was very heavy.
The staff try hard, they are very nice. However, for $260 a day I expect more than a crude room no larger than our clothes closets at home. The view of the roof and plumbing of the building next door was less than memorable. Folks, Nice is TINY. EVERY hotel room is on the beach. I suggest you go to a better hotel for a cheaper price back a few streets off the oceanfront. You can be anywhere in Nice 10 minutes by foot. Don't worry so much about location.

Room was standard via expedia #101 . Carpet was filthy , room so small we could not pass each other comfortably. Balcony was in rough shape. Its like it was the last room left. Also cupboard was in need of paint . Staff was the best i have had anywhere

Good hotel and location. Not suitable for everyone

Posted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: The location The staff. The cleanliness. The comfortable bed.
Cons: Moving the bed to the far wall would make it much easier for people to climb in both sides.
Location: The flower market also has bread, cheese and fish stalls. Sitting in a café there you can spend hours just watching the people and the buzz.
Hotel is in a prefect location. On the front and a two minute walk from the Flower Market and lots of restaurants. No lift so stairs have to be used to first and second floors. Room 107 is split with the bedroom up a spiral staircase and a small area downstairs with a desk, fridge and a couple of chairs. Bathroom is also downstairs. Bed is very close to the end wall so you have to walk sideways to get to the far side of the bed. The staircase could be quite a challenge in the night if you needed the loo, or to anyone with bad joints as you have to stick closely to the side to avoid falling down them. Hanging space is tiny and trousers could not be hung lengthways on the trouser hangers provided.

hotel with good access to beach new and old town

Posted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: Location and comfort
Cons: Water issues on mezzanine rooms
Location: Beach, old town, new town, promenade, harbour/marina, castle mount and many other things
Generally very good. Our room was up a spiral stairs off the second floor and was quiet and peacuful. We lost hot water whilst there and also at two points over eight days the water came out of the taps brown. Otherwise location and cost good.
