hotel close to beach and to the old townPosted Mar 7, 2014
Pros: convenient location
Cons: an easy chair in the room
Location: easy to get to public transport one way tickets cost one euro fifty cents on the bus / tram however far you travel [even to Cannes and Monaco etc]
the staff were very willing and although the hotel did hot have a restaurant there were over 50 within a 5 to10 minute walk the breakfast was first class with plenty of choice

Ok, but not 4 starPosted Oct 28, 2013
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Freshen up the room, leave airconditioning on all year round.
Location: Across from beach on main road. Close to old town and square. 20 minute walk to main station. Not a bad location.
We were in Nice for a weekend visit. Air con not working. Room overlooked a noisey lane, so couldnt leave windows open. Room was hot. Shower handle wouldnt stay up. Room needed a paint

Hotel close to the beachPosted Oct 20, 2013
Location: Cycle tour was excellent way of an introduction to Nice
The hotel was ok nothing special. We always ate out for breakfast 15 euros seemed a lot to pay when 2 minutes away in the local cafés it was only 6.50 euros. There is a lot of building work going on around that area so it was quite noisy. Location good. Very average non descript hotel

Excellent StayPosted Oct 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
The stay was excellent, the location was perfect, the only thing that I could possibly ding the hotel for is not having personal refrigerators in the rooms, but they have a centralized fridge that guests may utilize. Will stay here again.

Great locationPosted Oct 11, 2013
Pros: The staff and location were great.
The staff were very pleasant and the location of hotel was great. The room had a bad odour of smoke as it must have been a smoking room. The room needed a makeover as everything was old and sad looking. It has the potential to be a very nice hotel, it just needs some TLC.

Happy with the stayPosted Oct 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great location right at the waterfront, easy access to public transport including the airport bus and city tram, and convenient base to get around the city. The room is on the small side but clean and comfortable and has all of the amenities you'd expect for a 4* hotel.

Good for conveniencePosted Sep 28, 2013
A great hotel if you are only using it for sleeping and nothing more. Location is great, right near the beach and main shopping centre. Train station also not far away. Initial impressions look good, modern and helpful staff, but it is a bit tired. Very very basic bar and breakfast facilities, and not much in the way of communal seating etc. Rooms are quite small and basic, strange set up in the bathroom with only half a door for the shower but kept very clean. For the price you pay on here it's well worth it, but you'd be left feeling ripped off if you'd paid the 200 Euro plus they charge for walk ins. Lovely hotel all the same with helpful staff and good location so I recommend it.
