You could not pay me enough money to stay here again.Posted Nov 12, 2013
This hotel is dirty and dishonest. We booked for a double room with free wi-fi. We received a twin room with no internet access. They refused to give us another room for the night and it was too late (after 11pm) for us to find another place. In the morning I spoke to the Manager, who refused to give us a refund. On top of this, the room had many stains and smelt of urine. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Nice hotel in city centerPosted Sep 30, 2013
Pros: the location
Cons: bathroom is too small
Location: beach is walkign distance and station is near
The hotel was nice in the city center just 5 mins walking to the station and 10 mins walk to the beach. It had good nice budget restaurants as well as shopping malls nearby. The staff did not allow me to check in at 2 pm and asked me to wait for an hour.that was not expected as the hotel was not full as such and no one else was waiting.the room was good spacious, bathroom was small but i guess just ok for the price.the there was a small tv as well as opening to the balcony was towards the main road so u can see the good view of the bustling city.very close to the tram station.overall it was good hotel except that bathroom should have been a bit big.i would recommend the hotel for solo and budget travellers. rooms were cleaned everyday.

small rooms, noisey at night no tea facilities expePosted May 27, 2013
Pros: its location to the station
Cons: size of the beds and lack of facilities
Location: right by the station and tramline
well unfortunately we stayed during the bank holiday week end which was also the F1 week end in monaco so all the hoels in nice and the surrounding area triple the price... for saying we payed £160.00 per night for 2 small single beds you would have expected a kettle and some facilities to make a hot drink or even breakfast ...but there was nothing just a small room with small beds ...the hotel served its purpose but I would,nt want to take the wife.

Highly recommend for price-conscious customersPosted May 15, 2013
Close to the train station, convenient food choices (KFC next door, Chinese restaurant across the street). Free WiFi worked perfectly. Highly recommend for the price-conscious customer.

Scary hotelPosted Oct 10, 2012 on Hotels.com
It would have been a fair hotel for the price but what is scary about the hotel is that they lock the main door early in the mrning when the guy at the front desk goes somewhere in the hotel to do something. This is dangerous if somthing happens or if you hve an early flight or train to catch. Other than this, it's a so-so hotel which would be good e,nough considering the excellent location.

Pros: Convenience for Rail Travel
A very convenient hotel for Rail travelers - only 200M from Rail Terminal. We did not have time to explore Nice, but the hotel was close to the Tram line (50 M walk to Tram stop), so would be a convenient mode of travel to the city and shore areas. The room was good for us, but we were only there overnight and did not consider longer term convenience / issues.

Not recommended, uncomfortable experiencePosted Jun 14, 2012
After booking more than 30 hotels through Expedia over a couple of years I'm posting my first bad review. The only positive for this hotel is that it is close to the train station, however even this is a negative because it's not central to anything else. The hotel was overpriced and uncomfortable. Rooms were musty and damp with windows which did not seal properly allowing a lot of external noise into the room (the main road outside the window didn't help). The main door also allowed sound of any other guests to sound as if they were INSIDE our room, with walls which allowed the conversations from neighbouring rooms to sound as if they were talking right inside our room. As a medium sized male I was simply unable to shower within the smallest shower I have ever seen. If the bright green decor in the bathroom wasn't enough excitement, moving in the shower to wash myself was impossible. Staff were unfriendly on our arrival and any customer service was non-existant when we noted that our TV was not working. Our airconditioner decided to make like the TV and stop working on our second night and we yet again experienced the "no-can-do" attitude of hotel staff. I refuse to relive my experience trying to sleep on a bed that even Fred Flintstone would find uncomfortable. Not recommended.

Close to train station but very overpricedPosted May 29, 2012 on Hotels.com
National was ok for a quick night's sleep in Nice. It's close to the train station but sort of hard to find. You have to look for the small blue awning off to the right of the main street. Our group booked two rooms. The floor in one of them was completely wet and gross. The other room was fine but the guests next door were extremely loud even at 3 AM. The only positive was that the reception was open late and okay with us getting in very late after our major train delays.

Very Nice in Nice!Posted May 27, 2012
Pros: Walk out the front door to shop for whatever you need.
Cons: Bell or trolley bells ringing.
Location: Central location, right around the corner from the cross-country train station. Step outside the front door and start shopping or get a bite to eat
Around the corner from the train station, central location (busy traffic outside), Typical renovated European historical building into hotel. I walked everywhere including the main street shopping to the denser area of restaurants and georgous seaside. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Thank you Smile!
