“Great airport hotel”

Excellent for overnight before or after a flight. Food and room condition great at a reasonable price (October 2011).

“Great stay next to aeroport de Nice Cote D'Azur”

A modern and well kept hotel with good staff and service, next to Nice airport and just a 2 mins walk from the train station. Other public transport services all within walking distance from the hotel to take you into the center of Nice. Neighborhood however is where one shud use some caution especially after dark.

Area recommendations
Old town in Nice for it's charming old Provence buildings and fine restaurants and shops. Monte Carlo is just 20 mins away by train as is Cannes in the opposite direction.

“Nice spot to stay in Nice!”

The hotel was nice, the room was fine for 2/3 people. Only complaint is the restaurant hours in th hotel. Not a wide variety, but you can travel to food places relatively close, by bus, or cab! Super close to the airport! Great breakfast! Staff is pretty good about understanding english.

Getting around
Traveling late is pretty rough after 9pm. Buses stop running. Cab, or walking at night.
Must see
Great touring trips in the small towns, train rides, bus rides. Fun stuff.
Shopping
Great shopping area, street vendors, boutiques and restaurant.
Events and shows
Palais Nikaia is really close! Great concert venue!
Outdoors or beach
The beach is a must see! Simply amazing.

“Great hotel”

Confortable, clean, nice people, good breakfast. You can park at the hotel for 9 euros per day, it's a good price.

“Modern, comfortable, next to the airport”

Very clean and spacious room. 5 minutes from the airport, and somehow very quiet even though I was facing the runways (and the sea). Free hotel shuttle every half hour. Right next to a botanic garden if you need a relaxing stroll. Bus 98 or 99 stop nearby and bring you downtown. No restaurant to speak of in the neighborhood except at the the airport (limited hours). Bar with food in the hotel lobby. Would recommend 100% for a business trip in town, or to catch an early flight, but if I had come to visit Nice, I would have picked a hotel closer to downtown.

Area recommendations
For tourists: stay near le vieux Nice (vielle ville). Historical center, lot's of restaurants, shopping, near the beach.

“Good Service, close to airport.”

Very good service, staff is extremely helpful. Shuttle service to/from Nice airport, there is a direct phone line to call the hotel at the information desk (Terminal 2). Very clean and inviting lobby. Very clean rooms and bathroom. Rooms are a bit larger than european standards. There is a bus line which takes you to downtown Nice easily. The hotel is a about 20-25 minute bus ride from the "old Nice" the main touristic area. Very safe area of town. Hotel located across the airport (Terminal 1) in a residential area of town. I was very satisfied with the hotel and stayed twice there.

“So many better choices nearby with more of a French flair”

We didn't feel like we were in France. The hotel was ordinary, not bad. The room was especially generic. We were with our children and took a walk along the Promenade des Anglais and saw quite a few prostitutes, motorcycle gangs and drug addicts. Further down the street whole families were out with strollers and bicycles and there were no more prostitutes.The hotel is not in a good location.

Area recommendations
Stay in the Centre Ville of Nice. It was lovely! We stayed in a lovely room in a nice little hotel with an outdoor breakfast area for four nights for the same price as we paid for two rooms/ one night in the Novotel Nice Arenas Aeroport. It was a few a few miles down, off the Promenade des Anglais, in the hotel Negresco area.
When to go
We visited Nice in October, April and again in early June. The weather was wonderful each time we went...sunny and warm with a gentle breeze. Can't ask for better than that!!

“Very Good hotel for business people”

The hotel is 2 minutes from the airport by car. The hotel has a free shuttle to and from the airport all day long. You can call the hotel, for free, from the tourist office at the airport. Although you can see the planes arriving or departing no noise is heard. It is a very clean hotel. The superior room is big enough for a couple to stay in and feel comfortable. It has a double bed, a big sofa-bed, a desk with chair, minibar, safe, kettle, a separate room for bath and toilet. There are no restaurants or shops near the hotel. The only thing you can find near is some restaurants working only until lunch since they are located in a business center. You can find a bus 2 minutes walking from the hotel that takes you to the city center. Also, within a walking distance you can find one of the two train stations that can take you anywhere along the Provence and Cote d'Azur.

Area recommendations
On the Promenade des Anglais is the best place to stay. Since it is a long avenue by the sea try to be located near the Albert 1st park which is a walking distance from the center of the city and the fruit market.

“Great staff!”

This is a great hotel - the staff was extremely helpful, from getting info on buses into the old town, to getting a late sandwich at the bar - "to go". I would highly recommend it. Of course the airport location is best for travelers, but taking the bus into the old town of Nice was as easy as the receptionist said. I walked back to the hotel from the bus stop after 10pm and felt perfectly safe.
