This hotel is a total rip-off.

Posted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: The staff could be taught how staff are supposed to act in a so-called luxury hotel, for a start.
Location: Miles from anywhere, but facing the 6km-long beach.
Many of the staff in this hotel remind me of hotels in Moscow during the Soviet Union - with some exceptions, incredibly rude, off-hand and unpleasant. Quite staggering for what claims to be a luxury hotel, and which charges very high room rates. Like many of the larger hotels in Nice, one can't help wondering if it's Russian-owned.

Excellent hotel with fantastic view of Nice

Posted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff who made you feel welcome. Comfortable quiet room. Fantastic view of Nice coast line from the roof.
Cons: Having a sea view room.
Location: Although hotel is not central the walk along the Promenade taking in the sea view was not a problem. We also used the local buses which are frequent
Just returned from a wonderful 5 night stay at the Radisson Blu Nice. Friendly staff made us welcome and we enjoyed spending time relaxing by the pool or enjoying a drink at the bar taking in the beautiful views. Although our room was at the back of the hotel it was very clean and comfortable and we slept really well.We can't wait to return!

Nice hotel but too far out.

Posted Sep 7, 2014
Sea view is a must here. Stunning view. A nice hotel but too far out of town. It's a 45 minute walk into town.

Great location, sea view rooms with balcony

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Great location on the promenade. The room overlooked the sea and had a large balcony. The roof top pool and bar looked great.

Nice hotel- Not so close to the city centre

Posted Sep 1, 2014
The hotel was too far from the city centre (45 minute walk or €25 taxi ride each way). In your description of the hotel, you say it has a private beach but you fail to say that they charge €20 per day per person (most disappointing on your part) . The hotel despite being rated 4 star, had a bar in the lobby which was closed at all times. The restaurant on the roof was pricy and of low standard. The bar on the roof top was also too expensive. This is more of a business hotel rather than a holiday hotel. Overall very disappointing and I certainly would not recommend it to any friend or family. Honestly, I would rate it as a 3 star hotel. Overall, for the price that we paid we could have gone to Dubai and most definitely would have enjoyed it.

Great hotel with an amazing view

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: The view from the rooftop was lovely and the staff were very helpful
Location: Good location the beach is literally across the road, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby
The hotel is very impressive! Is just as nice as it looks on the website the view from the rooftop is amazing. Great location literally across the street from the beach. It was easy to get to the hotel from the airport, taxi's were very expensive so we got the bus instead for 12 Euros return ticket which was a short journey. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful, particularly the concierge who gave us directions into town. The staff in the rooftop bar were also very friendly. The rooftop pool was lovely however there is an extra charge to use the sunbeds which we didn't expect so just went to the beach instead. Stayed just for a weekend trip would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel on the Promenade

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Nice, clean and modern. Great buffet English or Continental breakfast. Conveniently located on Promenade- excellent for walking, biking
Cons: Perhaps availability of food at the poolside bar. You can purchase dinner in the restaurant up there, but you can't order a drink and a snack.
Location: Right on Promenade. Go to the beach, pool, taxi to museums, walk or ride bikes to Old Town Nice, visit brasseries everywhere, visit Port of Nice, etc
We had a great time in Nice, and would happily recommend this hotel. Our room was very comfortable and clean, nice bed & linens. Hotel staff were very nice and helpful. Convenient free shuttle into old town Nice each evening on the hour and returns on the half hour. Rental cruiser bikes right our front with easy access to Promenade, lockable anywhere. Taxis available anytime. View restaurant atop hotel with pool, beautiful view. Favorite restaurant within hotel complex is on the beachside across from hotel where you can rent lounge chairs and towels for the day. Note: all the hotels along Promenade are across from the beach- there are no beachside hotels- but it's very nice anyway and just the way it's done. Restaurants galore in Old Town, super fun to walk around to sidewalk cafes for delicious eats/drinks, people watching.

Nice hotel lovely views ,

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Rooftop area
Cons: Reduced restaurant and bar prices to keep people there. Shuttle bus to run during the day
Location: Views lovely, not a lot to do around the hotel
The rooftop pool, bar and restaurant are the best I've seen. Lovely views by day and night. Restaurant and bar quite expensive but well worth a visit. Only downside the hotel is quite a way from the city centre. There is a free shuttle bus which runs every night which is brilliant. Its a pity it doesn't run in the day-time. Not a lot to do outside of the hotel within walking distance.

Nice hotel. Far from town though

Nice is a great destination, close to Monaco (excellent place) although very very expensive. Hotel drinks were ridiculously expensive, Gin & tonic €19 !!!!!

Nice hotel

Posted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: Comfy beds, cleanliness, breakfast on the roof!
Cons: No charge for sunbeds and towels.
Location: Very close to beach, short bus ride or walk into old town, 25 min train ride to Monaco
Great hotel, only complaint is the daily charge for each sunbed at the pool or beach, €88 for a family of four per day! Bike hire available at the hotel and a great cycle lane stretching the length of the bay. Beautiful view from the rooftop bar and pool. Very close to airport and a good bus service to old town, train station etc. would stay again.
