Positive: close to tramway station. Very nice staff. Nice sitting area in the lobby and free hot drink. Negative: bad smell in the room specially when turned on the air conditioner. The lift doors between floors so you have to walk up or down few stairs. Internet connection would automatically log out every now and then.

I stayed here because I was attending a conference at the center across the street. I would think this would be a good business hotel because its not in the tourist area and by the conference center. It was awful! Not good amenities, dated rooms, not very clean, poor internet, AC didn't work well, ONE ironing board in the entire hotel you had to wait in line to use at the reception desk. I would definitely not stay here again.

An excellent budget hotel
I have been staying at this hotel every year for the past 12 years when attending trade shows at the Palais des Congrès Acropolis, and the standard has never slipped. It is a friendly, family-run hotel in a very convenient location for the Acropolis expo centre. It is a 10 minute walk from the center of town and the old port, there are lots of good resaurants and bars nearby and it is convenient for the tram system. As well as business people, I have also met many tourists who stay there because given its location and price per room, it makes good sense for peoplle visiting Nice on a budget who want a good standard of accommodation.

A mixed bag
Great location, 10 mins from old town and the Nice Riquier train station. Rooms are quite small - ok for a couple of days tho. Our shower didn’t work very well first morning but was fixed without question by the evening. However, the sound proofing is terrible. If you are a light sleeper this hotel isn’t for you - we could hear people above (heavy feet) in the corridor (laughing/shouting at 2am) and next door (eugh being sick again at 2 am!).

Terrible bathroom and room smells of smoke
The room smelled like smoke. The bathroom was terribly old and out dated . The shower water pressure was a joke. The room was small. If u looked at the small details around the property you could see things falling apart. This hotel is trying to look modern but is failing at it. The location is far from the beach and old town.

Planning a return visit
We had booked this hotel as a short break with 4 other friends but unfortunately we could not travel due to a medical emergency the week before we were due to travel. Our friends still travelled to the hotel & were very impressed at the value for money the hotel provided. They said it was much better than they had expected finding it to be very pleasant as well as being ideally located near to a tram stop & a short walk to the old town & beach. They were so pleased with the quality of the hotel they are planning on making a return visit for when my partner is fully fit & able to fly again

rooms could improved by some sound proof solutions
- Rooms can be improved by some sound proof solutions. - The breakfast area was too small for the number of occupants. At least 10 more chairs is needed! - Some of the food options were not available arounf 9:30 onwards and kitchen staff seemd not to bother filling them up. I think if the breakfast is scheduled from 6:00-10:30, all the food options must be available during this time slot. - The water for making tea was cold and not hot. - The breakfast options can be added as €12 is not cheap!

Made to feel at home in Nice
A really friendly hotel where the staff try their best to make you feel very much at home. A real find! It's less than 5 minutes from Acropolis tram stop and so very well situated. My guess is that prices will vary a lot depending on whether there is a conference on in the nearby conference centre (for which it is very handy).

Staff polite and sympathic AC noisy, did not seem to work, opening windows actually cooled the room... weird 1/2 floors elevator dangerous bathtub being elevated with no rail to support getting out when wet Leaks on the bathroom floor at every shower no fan in the small bathroom so steamed every time no Ironing board in the room, need to go down near the lobby in a dirty hallway where staff needs to come through light switches outside of bathroom, inconvenient Missing grout in between some ceramic tiles in the bathrrom

excellent value, good standard, clean, comfortable, would stay again ... negatives were the cleaner expecting to clean room by noon every day, she would knock the door from 11am even with ‘do not disturb’ on ... unfortunately on my floor there were business colleagues in and out of each other’s rooms and the doors beep if not shut properly so ended up being disturbed quite a lot

Nice hotel close to old town
The hotel is very close to the absolutely charming old town where a lot of restaurants and shops are located, also close to a great (free!)parking space , lots of supermarkets and cafes. Public transport in the form of buses and tramn are a stone throw away.

Lovely little hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Tram stop just around the corner so everything is withi easy reach. Only one small downside:no coffee making facilities in the room (you could go down and ask for a cup if you liked but I'd prefer it on demand)

Absolutely Loved our 5 days in Nice at the Relais
We had a wonderful 5 days in and around Nice. We went to st Paul de Vence, Vence one day, to Menton and Monaco another. We took the Hop on hop off bus one day,and of course visited Old Town. We also took a really cool 15 Euro round trip on the train up to a little village in the Alps Maritime called Tende. Highly recommend it. Audrey at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

Sisters weekend trip
We have just returned from a fabulous weekend in Nice. The hotel relais was excellent value for money, rooms a little bit in the small side but clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful in recommending places to see and eat. The location was perfect - we walked everywhere. The only downside to the hotel was there was no bar.

Not a very big room and electricity seemed to have been throttled -it took a long time to get devices to charge and the power was only turned on while we were in the room. Other than that the room was clean and nice

When we arrived we were told that the air conditioning was broken and there seemed some doubt about when it would be repaired. We were offered a fan but that was not effective. I called Expedia who transferred us to another hotel and picked up the balance. Top marks to Expedia.

Nearly perfect!
Really enjoyed our stay, and rooms were very clean however the cleaner often didn't clean the room and we found ourselves ringing reception for several things the cleaners didn't replace ( fresh towels, toilet roll etc). Reception staff extremely friendly and helpful and hotel very modern. However it's location is slightly out of the way of the old town or the beach but there is a tram that runs at the back of the hotel which is perfect and brings you straight to the centre of Nice. Would defiantly stay again!

Poor conditions, but good front desk staff
AC did not work, room the size of a closet, bathroom door unable to be opened if closed from inside-so u can be stock in the bathroom until house keeping shows up. Front desk staff helpful and nice
