good location, gloomy rundown hotelPosted Sep 25, 2013
staff friendly, good location. shabby and gloomy room with dirty stained carpets, above some indusrial scale rubbish bins outside in constant noisy smelly use. do not recommend and in many ways the room cast a shadow over our holiday

10 minute walk to beach but small roomsPosted Aug 3, 2013
Pros: Greatest asset was Alexia who worked the front and was extremely helpful in suggesting what to do and where to eat. Trust her!
Cons: Room size and value for the cost of the room.
Location: Well situated in Old Nice so close to a ton of food choices. 10 minute walk to beach. Metro stops outside of hotel.
Situated in Old Nice next to a lot of restaurants and food choices but it is a ten minute walk to the beach. Nice is very expensive so maybe the $170 we paid a night is normal for a very small room, but that was very expensive compared to the rest of France. The room literally went around the king size bed without about a one foot clearance. Hotel is being redone so hopefully they will expand some of the sizes of their rooms.

CharmingPosted Jul 26, 2013
We were greeted by the woman with a glass of wine to sip when we arrived. Although the room was very small, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was quite good. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening that overlooked the shop and restaurant. The hotel is in old part of Nice and easy to reach by bus from the airport.

nice boutique hotel, overpriced, no minibarPosted Jul 16, 2013
Pros: the building was from 18th century.
Cons: room luxury such as minifridge.
Location: Its very close old market and flower market. Very close to castel side of the beach. Very near of messana and garibaldi piazzas.
stayed 2 nights in superior room. Positives : Antique and oriental ambiance.Feel comfortable, clean, close to main attractives and old town. Safe area and staff. negatives: No minibar even in superior room, very thin walls, priced as 4-5 star hotel compared to other hotels in nice.

Great location but tiny room!Posted Jul 5, 2013
Pros: definitely its location
Cons: the size of the room
Location: perfect for everything beautiful Nice has to offer; we'd stay in the Old Town again
We loved the location of the hotel in the quirky old part of town though it's very tired and our room certainly didn't look like any of the photos (we were in the tiny room 102 and it was a tight squeeze for 2 adults!). The location of the hotel is perfect for all of Nice's main attractions; all are within easy walking reach. The hotel is easy to access from the airport; you need to get the 98 bus (6 euros each) and get off at the cathedrale vieille ville though on the way back to the airport you need to get on at Lycee Massena. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the drop off. Personally we didn't have a problem with the noise and in fact the old town seemed quieter than the newer posher part; there was some noise in the morning but nothing out of the ordinary.

Villa la TourPosted Jun 22, 2013
Pros: Staff lovely and welcoming
Cons: No lift, bathroom
Location: Very central once you find it!
Not easy to locate on arrival but staff very nice and welcoming. Room fine and comfortable a little on the shabby side but bathroom tired in need of a refresh. No lift so getting bags to 3rd floor a trial

Very small room, but if you spend your time out and about when on holiday it's all you need.

Good location, helpful staff.Posted Apr 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
Perfect location in the centre of old Nice. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast expensive at €12.50 per person. Carpet in the room in serious need of replacement, very soiled. NO lift and a lot of stairs to the third floor but staff offer to help with bags if needed.
