“Suprisingly good!”

I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel for a long weekend and thought this would be reasonable - it was and more besides. The rooms were very well proportioned with high ceilings but very light (but with those wonderful French electric blackout shutters) and exceptionally clean. A good sized bed with plenty of room to move around, lcd tv and a balcony in what seems to be every room. The bathrooms were spacious too and, again, very well fitted and very clean. Breakfast was a highlight of each day of the stay. Although the range was not immense, everything was fresh and appealing. Cereals, fruiy and yoghurts as you would expect but also a range of beautiful breads and miniature croissants and pain au raisin. Unusually, there were also lovely creamy scrambled eggs as well as bacon and (one day only) miniature smoked sausage. It is worth noting that the advertised casino is in a completely different building about a five minute walk away - it is not in the hotel grounds. Overall a lovely place for restful stay at a reasonable price.
