“Not bad at the price”
The staff were very nice and helpful. New management, however, had removed the promised microwaves & refrigerators from all the rooms. Wireless Internet access, as someone else has mentioned, was unavailable in rooms far from the office, and sometimes iffy even near the office. It took three tries to find me a room with working wireless, but the desk clerk kept at it until we succeeded. The "business center" is a tiny desk and old computer crammed into the office hall. The rooms were clean but somewhat shabby and in disrepair. My bathroom ceiling had a big hole in it and a ripped lampshade dangled over the bed. The bed was very comfy and the cleaning staff good and accommodating. No bugs; that's always good. Not enough electrical outlets: I had to add an extension of my own. Lots of awkward road construction at present, but you can figure out how to access the parking lot with a bit of effort. Not too noisy, although the possibility is there: right on a busy road, across from a police station & tornado siren, weekly rates and thus some people hanging out late at night. Overall though, for me, it was acceptable. I was looking for cheap and hoping not to get stung. There were no hidden fees or extra charges at the end of my stay. I would stay again if my plans involved being out most of the time.
