Pros: Booked a mountain view room. Which is great when the skies are clear.
Decorations are quite old, but hotel is clean. Vouchers for welcome drinks were offerend in the lobby bar, but as the bar closes at 5.30pm not quite useful. Visited outside winter season, as there is no skiing yet, nothing much to do in the vicinity. Car proved to be very handy.

at a golf course and a ski lift starts in hotel.

Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: The golf course and the friendly staff
Very nice hotel with several activities available. Several walking trails, a golf course and for the winter a ski lift starts from the hotel premises. Golf course rent equipment and even shoes so even the unexpected golfer can play. Nice onsen and spa available. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Only small draw back is that the village is around 10 km away so own transport is helpful.

Excellent Location, Great Staff, Great Food

Posted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: Service, staff, food
Cons: More consistent hours of operation for Flame, the lobby bar/grill. They seemed to open at "whenever" and close about "then".
Location: Niseko is a well known ski resort town. Our visit was in the off season, so most people were there to golf.
Stayed at the Hilton Niseko while in Hokkaido for Ironman Japan. Was greeted with excellent service, a fantastic room, and a great breakfast. The onsen was great, as were there grounds and the running path. Note to western travelers - A quick tip for an enjoyable breakfast experience is to head down to the omelet station which is at the farthest end, tucked away. Ask for "bird eggs", which is what they call chicken eggs. They'll gladly make you any kind of eggs / bacon.

Close to the slopes

Posted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: Onsen and restaurants
Cons: More shuttle buses to hirafu.
Friendly staff. Close proximity to the gondola etc. Hotel is a bit tired though, I thought the onsen needed cleaning/upgrading and the bedroom furnitures and fittings bit old.

Hotel room stunk of smoke.

Posted Feb 26, 2014
Pros: Had good views, handy with gondola right outside the hotel and good snowboard rental gear.Staff very courteous.
Cons: The smoking issue is a big drawback to this place.
Location: In a quiet location away from Niseko Hirafu. No shopping close by.
Smoking has ruined parts of this Hotel.Booked 2 rooms for 3 night.Requested non smoking but put onto a smoking floor. One bedroom was foul from the stench of heavy smoking - all the bedding - pillows and duvet reeked of smoke.Hotel didnt have a non smoking room until the next day.Had to wash all our clothing - just a sickening affair. Hilton Japan have made a blunder with their smoking policy ( won't guarantee a non smoking room ) .Having booked with Expedia I was not in a position to ask for a refund.A most disappointing experience to what otherwise was a very enjoyable stay

Lack of food choices

Posted Feb 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is located in niseko village. As it was deep in winter, there is difficulties and also inconvenience to go to the hotel. Transport between the hotel and the airport is also not arranged by the hotel and the hotel booking also does not provide links to the shuttle transfer. Hence we did not manage to get a return shuttle to the airport. There is a limit of food options and restaurants in the hotel as the dinner places were all full and we had to end up eating room service. There is limited transport out of the hotel in the night and no one will want to walk out to the hotels or amentities in subzero temperatures. The restaurants and food choices available are also very expensive. Almost 60 usd for room service without drinks for 3 person and 35 usd for soup and bread for lunch without drinks.

Ideal setting, convenient and so hospitable.

Posted Jan 26, 2014
Pros: Staff is great and everything else. Oh, and outdoor onsen at night with snow and watching fall in the lighted forest - - wow.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Self-contained resort but with hourly shuttle service into town.
Hilton Niseko is not inexpensive, but considering all that is included (lift location, rental and storage convenience, frequent local shuttle service, airport/Sapporo bus door-to-door, onsen, multitude of bars and restaurants to choose from) it is worth the money. Been there twice and will go back again. And great views of Mt. Yotei when its not snowing (which it does most of the winter).
