I realize that Coast is doing renovations but what bothered me the most was that I had to have my door key reprogrammed four times. One of the doors to the room never unlocked via keycards. I left the door latch on the one door and could not get back into the room to retrive items for my meeting.

Frat house for 10 year olds. Felt like I was in the movie Lord of the Flies. I think some of the guests and staff forgot that they were at a hotel and not a playground. Whole new meaning to “kid-friendly” hotel. Where you can play hockey in the hallways and parkour from the stairwells and 2nd floor balconies.

The property has had a decent makeover the last few years, but where we were still felt a bit run down. Excessive noise from rooms below us, smelled of cigarette smoke. Hallway smelled of vape and pot smoke. I was honestly a bit disappointed from stays years ago. The location is great, breakfast great and they offer long term parking. It does for a quick in and out stop.

I was surprised how quiet the hotel was despite there being a pool in the middle court. After quiet hours everything was silent. The room was quite hot and the fan to run the air was rather loud.
