“Not for a holiday, maybe a stop over.”
When we went france was experiencing a cold snap so when we got into the hotel we expected a nice warm room. We didn't but for the first night we thought it was just us and not being able to use the air con, turned out it didn't work at all so we were given a portable heater instead, not ideal at all, but what to do with basic france on my side and very basic english on the other? Later that night the toilet randomy sprung a leak, water was everywhere. We were moved to another room (next door infact) which conveniently enough had a working air con system.
The TV system offered little if you didn't speak French, when going to a foreign country Im expecting to get their channels but i'm also used to getting BBC World channels. Would have liked to been able to catch up with the news while in bed.
Free wifi but the connection was poor in the main,
Ventured out for breakfast the first day or two but ending up using the hotels. Pricey for what it was. Sausages and bacon were uneatable but the other guests seemed to like it. Typical continental offering was poor however, never really started the day well.
Tried to book disabled rooms but told they were full.On inspection they didn't seem to have any and certainly didn't see anyone else with any obvious disabilities there. The only rooms i'd consider to be disabled friendly had shoes in there for sale.
It's a solid hotel that does what it does, but holidays isn't that, more of a business stop over and thats why i'd recommend it.
