“Nice apartment/hotel in a great location”
I arrived at the the hotel after hours, and the hotel staff put the key in a security box for me, along with my check-in documentation. The hotel is located above a parking garage, and is attached to a very large shopping mall with a hypermarket. The train station is also across the street, so getting to the hotel by train is no problem. Since it is an apartment, there is a kitchen available to do any cooking, or even need dishes to warm up left-overs. I wish I could have met the staff, but I wasn't around when they were on duty. I'm sure they are friendly and helpful. They are definitely helpful on the telephone.
“Just the job for that price”
Bit of a quirky place, not sure we've got an equivilant in the UK. After we booked in on friday the reception desk was closed over the weekend. We let ourselves in and out and hardly ever saw a sole ! The place is clean and our rooms were perfectly comfy. The hotel was excellently located for strolling into town, and there were cafe's and bars everywhere. Cool city.
“Great Budget Accomadation”
The room was small but ample. Maybe slightly smaller than a UK "Travel Lodge" room, with the added benfit of having a cooker, sink, Microwave Oven and Fridge along with a table and chairs for eating at. Room was clean and tidy when we arrived. Bathroom was a good size with an excellent shower, etc. The bed, a pull out sofa bed, could have been more comfortable, but it wasn't that bad and we both slept fine. Only down side to the room was the air con which seemed to recirculate smoke from other appartments which resulted in slight tobacco smell at certain times of day. Contrary to other reviews we didn't hear any announcements from the adjacent rail station. For the price, would def go back.
“Nice stay in Lille”
Comfortable. Across the street from the train station. Good room for the price.
“Good place to stay”
Great location near Eurorail station in Lille. Big mall next door. Nice room size with microwave and small stove/fridge, all for a reasonable price. A little surprised when room service knocked on the door the morning we were leaving and announced we had to be out by 10 am; that wasn't posted anywhere. Still, definitely one of the better quarters during our recent trip to Europe.
“Security could be an Issue”
I would not trust the security of this hotel at all, anyone could have your room key. They also did not seem that bothered when we told them of their mistake that they gave us someone elses room key. Only good point was that we got a bigger room, and it was very close to town, as we went for the Braderie (market) it was very convenient.
“Cheap and right in the centre”
It was only for 1 night and did the job, right in the centre of town couldnt be closer to the shopping centre. After gaining access via the coded safety boxes the door to room was difficult to open we went into town for lunch and the xmas markets came back and couldnt open the door to the room tried every number we had including the emergency ones mentioned in the lobby no answer from any including expedia. eventually the door opened with some force but we were unable to lock it afterwards so couldnt safely go out and leave our stuff in the room. I will say that if we did not have trouble with the door it would have been a very good stay. I would make sure you have contact numbers codes and a room freshener before you go but for £50 what more would you expect
“excellent for short stay”
excellent for shopping as next to Euroville shopping center and to the train station.
“Not bad, but ......”
The room was comfortable, if a little cramped. The kitchen facilities were poor - limited crockery and cutlery and virtually no utensils apart from pots and pans. The staff, however, were friendly and helpful.
“feedback”
It was a satisfactory hotel at a reasonable rates & quite good value for the money
