Great place in the countryPosted Jun 10, 2015
Pros: Old stone bricks, wonderful architecture.
Location: Wymondham is just down the road as well as Norwich. Centrally located for the surrounding Towns and Cities
Just outside of Norwich this is a wonderful place. Beautiful grounds and building. Yes, this is a golfers paradise, but a superb place to stay for a few days or longer. Staff were very attentive, room was clean and well appointed. We did not need anything additional while we were there. Everything was close at hand. The bar area is great to relax in and a enjoy as good drink after a long day out sightseeing. Thoroughly recommend Dunstan Hall and will return on my next trip

A location worth exploring.Posted May 30, 2015
The hotel is situated surrounded by a golf course and beautiful views. The only down side is the golf course restricts places to walk. Saying that, the view from the bedroom is wonderful. Facilities are great, nice pool and a well stocked gym. There are also a couple of great places to eat, such as, Stoke Mill, which I would strongly recommended. In addition, the hotel is only 10 minutes drive from Norwich.

Pretty hotel with a nice pool. Disappointing room.Posted May 28, 2015
Although the outside of Dunston Hall is spectacular, the room was not up to scratch. It had used tea cups, a horrid smell and things in the bin from the last people staying. There were also very noisy people upstairs throughout the night. However, the pool/spa and included breakfast made up for it as they were both wonderful.

Not as good quality as previous 2 visitsPosted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: The location and grounds. Good pool and steam room area. Public Bar and conservatory attractive and relaxing.
Cons: Carvery. Housekeeping should check the rooms are ready for new guests.
Location: Easy to find from the A47. Convenient for park and ride for the city.
I visited on 16th April for 4 nights with my mum. We use this hotel as a base when visiting my brother in the area. On arrival, there was no net curtain at the window and we looked across to other bedrooms, so had to close the curtains for privacy. No toilet roll in the room and no booklet on the dressing table to advise the hotel facilities. I reported all 3 to Reception. After mentioning it a 2nd time, a very crumpled net curtain with a hole in it appeared. 2 toilet rolls were also delivered. I was advised that the booklets were still being printed in the name of Q Hotels, who had taken it over from De Vere. One arrived eventually. We chose to dine in the restaurant on the first evening and chose the carvery. Only 2 choices of meat: rare beef and turkey. It had to be turkey. The Yorkshire puddings were awful: cold, hard and huge. Being from Yorkshire, I know what they should look and taste like. The staff were friendly and the location is ideal. However, I feel that the standard is not worthy of the pricetag.

Lovely settingPosted Apr 16, 2015
Lovely setting but room feels worn and dated. Meal choice was limited and ingredients seemed of a cheap quality. Staff were excellent.

One night stay in NorwichPosted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: Large grounds, away from traffic noise
Cons: Room facilities (there were two cups, but only one saucer and one spoon) lack of alternative teas, cheap nasty toilet paper, generally not very clean.
Location: Norwich is a small city with some nice shops and beautiful area around Cathedral.
The hotel (at least the wing we stayed in) is in need of refurbishment. We were told by the manager that this was due to happen soon - would have nice to know BEFORE we booked

Good hotel with friendly staff and heated poolPosted Mar 30, 2015
Location: Great for visiting Norwich (market, cathedrals, shops, the Lanes, etc. Also within an hour's drive for good birdwatching (e.g. RSPB Titchwell)
Warm welcome, great breakfasts, lovely grounds including golf course, nice indoor heated swimming pool with children's area. Comfortable room except for a radiator which wouldn't turn off!
