Lovely Pub SettingPosted Sep 24, 2013
Pros: Location, cleanliness, good food, friendly & attentive staff. Breakfast was included in the price.
Cons: The shower cubicle was quite small but everything else was very comfortable and well thought out.
Location: This pub was about 40 minutes from Norwich Cathedral in a quite village. Lovely scenery and ideal spot for us.
Short weekend break. Found The George & Dragon very comfortable and the staff very welcoming & friendly. Food was excellent.

A Gem on the Way to NorwichPosted Jul 4, 2013
Pros: Character, Food and Drink , most of all personal service.
Cons: The only slight item is the WIFI signal does come and go in your room.
Location: Peacefull with a countryside feel but only 40 minutes away from Norwich
I have recently started travelling to Norwich for business, I have now been to Norwich twice and only ever stay at this hotel the night before. The hotel has a fantastic warm and welcoming feel. The bar / restraunt has great character, and the food and beer are equaly as pleasing. I will continue to stay at this hotel anytime I am in the region and would certainly recomend to fellow business travellers as freinds. A real gem of a hotel. Thinking of Premier Inn or Travelodge, don't bother stay here and get the quality and individual service you should always recieve.

A really comfortable overnight stay.Posted Oct 31, 2012
Pros: What I liked best about this hotel was the very comfortable bedroom and the fact that we could have a good evening meal without going elsewhere.
Cons: The hotel is on a small site in the middle of a village so there is no outlook
Location: The village is easy to get to and well located for exploring Norwich and the Norfolk Broads.
This hotel has been recently refurbished and to a high standard. The bedroom was extremely comfortable and well equipped. The staff were polite and very helpful. We enjoyed the fact that the bar was clearly being used by locals as it gave it a friendly atmosphere. It was really nice that we didn't have to go elsewhere to find somewhere to eat in the evening and the dinner was good with enough choices to suit all tastes. Breakfast the following morning was excellent and freshly cooked. All in all we had a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Absolutely top class hotel, my only complaint was that my room overlooked a laundry and the door to the laundry (which was a fire exit door) had been wedged wide open all night, and the laundry light had been left on, so light flooded into the room all night making it hard to sleep. Apart from that, a fabulous stay.

All staff were very friendly and helpful with places to visit and places which were not so favourable. Good food sourced from local providers.
