Overnight Stay

Pros: The breakfast was great the beds were comfy.
Cons: The stains on the carpet and the light did not work in the bathroom
Location: Close to Military Circle Mall and shops.
We just wanted to stay somewhere overnight after getting off the Spirit of Norfolk Cruise. The first room that we were placed in the people next to us were loud. We asked if we could be moved and they accommodated us. The second room was clean other than a few stains on the carpet. The light in the bathroom was out. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast the next day was awesome. I would stay there again.

Perfect for a one night stay

Location: Golf, Shopping, Beach, Airport
I wouldnt want to stay at this hotel more than a day. The walls are so thin, I could hear the person next to me up coughing all night. The carpet made my socks so dirty. The toilet seat was up like it had been cleaned and it was dirty. Thank god I brought my own linens when I stayed here.

Very nice. Staff was outstanding. Airport van good. Slight malfunction with heating unit in room but quickly fixed by maintenance staff. Fluorescent lights in room which are common in Sleep Inns. Some do not have these or have CFL's with a more pleasant color. Ample parking for rental car, just don't park under a tree. I think every bird in Norfolk nests in that tree and I had a little mess to clean up in the morning.

Positive overall experience

Pros: Price, location, cleanliness, nice indoor pool, breakfast
Cons: Internet connectivity
Location: Nothing is within walking distance, but there's everything from TJ Maxx, Target, and Walmart to KFC, Taco Bell, and restaurants within a 5 min drive.
A decent hotel in a good location (1 minute drive to 64 East and West onramps). My TV was very dark for some reason. they couldn't exchange it because maintenance was off that day, which I thought was odd (how hard is it for someone to swap a TV?). Anyway, they moved me to a new room the next day. The internet connectivity was horrible. It was almost impossible to stream a movie. I'd get knocked off every 5 minutes and have to change from one access point to another. The breakfast was very good, with make-your-own waffles, pastries, fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, grits, oatmeal, and lots of different drinks. Very friendly staff and clean facilities throughout.

Nice stay at Sleep Inn

I was very impressed by the hotel. It was the first time we stayed in the Sleep Inn. Service was good and the breakfast was very good.
