The staff were very friendly and helpful. Such a good start to your evening, then you sat down for your meal. And the bar was set higher. The food was just superb. We were delighted, the people at tables around us were clearly also very happy. Highly recommended.

The welcome and the service and friendliness of all the staff were outstanding. Although the bedroom was not large(not enough room for an easy chair) it was comfortable and warm and all the furniture modern. The bathroom was exceptionally good. Breakfast was excellent.

I didn't think this place could get any better but I highly recommend the slightly larger rooms. What an amazing bed and bedding. Best night's sleep in years.

A hidden gem in rural Norfolk
It really is as good as the ratings and reviews suggest. Super clean, brilliant hospitality and fantastic food. Lovely bed and bedding. Great value. What's not to love?

Lovely pub
Our room was very clean and comfortable, including the en-suite with an easy to work shower which had good water pressure. The food was of an excellent quality at breakfast and in the evenings. The cooked breakfast was one the best that i have ever had. Just one point which might be considered, is to offer pastries and fruit at breakfast. My wife, does not like a traditional full English in the morning and it might be worth considering offering a selection of pastries and fruit. It could be offered as an option when guests check in and then costs are controlled. I must commend Alison on her comprehensive check in with clearly explained Fire Safety procedures. All staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I would whole heartedly recommend this pub.

Brilliant little find!
This was a great stay, I was travelling for business. The grounds and rooms are immaculate, clean and in a good condition. The bed was huge and very comfy. I was welcomed as soon as I entered the door and thanked as I was leaving. A genuinely lovely place to stay. The breakfast included was of a high standard too! Nothing negative to say at all. I will stay again if in the area.

Bed, pillows and quilt exceptionally comfortable however the room wasn't that big abd the ensuite very small. The breakfast was average with little choice.

Everything was excellent from the very happy and very helpful staff to the food, the room, the garden. All fabulous!! Very clean everywhere. Staff work very hard. A happy ship. Only very slight negative is the size of the bathroom . The en-suite had a full bath with shower over and a loo squeezed in beside it. Not great for those of ample proportions.would highly recommend this place.

Overnight on business. Second time I have stayed here, I do like the menus and quality of the service. It's a quiet location, has good size rooms and great food.

I cant praise this hotel enough. Everyone of the staff and the owner were fantastic. The food was excellent and my room also. If are ever in this area, please at least go for a meal. You wont be disappointed.

Very cosy country pub, the room was great Very clean and a lovely king size comfy bed. The evening meal was very good with a good choice on the menu. Not forgetting the breakfast in the morning spot on.

Alison was an amazing host! So friendly and happy to accommodate. Hotel and restaurant were very clean and well-appointed. Bar/restaurant staff were wonderful. Everyone made us feel very at home.

A comfortable, clean room with a bath, which was very welcome in our walk from Norwich to Walsingham. Staff were all very helpful and welcoming. Excellent value and good food.

Room 5. Stayed 1 night. On site free parking. Lovley room. Could hear the music from the restaurant in the evening and morning. Good wifi. Lovley breakfast and evening meal. Tea coffee biscuit water and hot chocolate. No refrigerator. Towels smelt nice. Would return

A foodies delight
I thoroughly enjoyed my overnight experience at the Parson Woodforde , the welcome was warm the room smart , tidy and a good size ( small bathroom ) The views were OK and the bed was too soft ( for me) . What stood out for me was my evening meal . I have had better , a memorable theatrical restaurant in Santiago or in Jersey with a Michelin star but never had i had such a delicious country fare as the Duo of Wild Rabbit ,( with parma ham, + confit leg with a garlic & rosemary potato terrine buttered chantenay carrots , black pudding crumble & cumberland sauce) that I enjoyed here and at a very reasonable price to boot. Followed by a skillful selection of cheeses from around the UK ... Heavenly. Retireing to my room with anticipation of the morning and wondering what breakfast would bring. This turned out to be an anti-climax after the previous nights delights however forgivable all things considered . In summery , its a nice place to stay with the bonus of and exceptional kitchen and good service . don't miss it.
