“Nice Hotel”

Very clean and I liked the rooms they had full refridgerators, stove top and dishwasher.

Very clean,large modern rooms with kitchen, staff was very freindly, only negative was that the wireless in the rooms was down for the three days I was there, used computer in buisness center which was working fine,staff also faxed several documents for me at no charge and there is also free use of laundry facilities which is the first time I had ever seen in a hotel, I would defiantly stay here again if in the Norfolk area

Target, Wal-Mart, food establishments are in walking distance. The airport is 10 mins away and the shuttle is always available. The property is brand new, every inch of the suite/room was magnificent with the marble in the bathroom. I washed clothes (complimentary wash/dry). Loved it. Workout room has all the up-to-date equipment. Front desk hospitality from beginning to end of my stay. I'm from Los Angeles/Orange County, California, and a very neat and clean person. I will most definitely be back. The drive to Virginia Beach is very close, freeways are right at the location. Highest recommendation and respect for this hotel.

I was totally impressed with the decor/staff/location is kinda tucked away though. Its in the heart of several businesses so I think that is good; you don't have to worry about not finding a good place to eat ~ overall one of the better hotels that I have stayed in.

“Great place to stay in Norfolk”

This hotel was great. The hotel in newer and located near several resturants and shopping areas. The staff was very helpful and pleasant to deal with as well. I arrived to the hotel earlier than expected but they had no problem letting me check in early. I would recemmend this hotel to anyone traveling to this area for business or leisure.

“I'll be searching for more Candlewood Suites when I travel, loved it”

I was looking for a quick stay over to catch an early flight out of Norfolk, I picked Candlewood based on the reviews. I paid a similar rate to a regular hotel room and what got was totally amazing. The "suite" was like a nice one bedroom condominium! I'll definately be back and defininately search for Candlewood Suites in all my trips.

The staff was very friendly, answered all of my questions. The room was AWESOME. It was clean and very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.I cannot wait to stay here again.

Only stayed 1 night, but wish I could have stayed there longer. The room we stayed in was a 1 queen bedroom suite. It had a decent sized table, small kitchen (with small stove no oven, good sized microwave and regular sized refrigerator, dishwasher), and a nice sized bathroom. One of the most important things to me and my husband for a hotel to have is a clean bathroom, and the bathroom was very clean. Even the linens and towels were of a good quality, and not what you normally see for a hotel of this price. This is definitely the place I'll be staying anytime I'm in Norfolk.

“Great hotel for Families/business travellers”

I found the room to be spacious and comfortable. There was a full size refrigerater, dishwasher, microwave and stove top available. The room was very clean as was all the areas of the hotel. I liked the gym and laundry room combo. The area around the hotel had several restaurants and shopping within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was friendly and accomodating to my needs.
