“Ok for the money”

Well having heard the discussions about bed bugs I was a bit concerned, but I'm very happy to say my room was totally bed bug free for the duration The free breakfast was limited to say the least I think it was just boiled eggs, some tiny muffins and orange juice. Fortunately there's a Starbucks just next door Just yards up the road is a KFC, McDonalds and a Hardy's the McD Drive afterhours is slow to the short of pain. It doesn't look that good during the daytime as if you check it out in Googlemaps the queue is huge The road is just up the road from the town centre and the harbour unfortunately it looks as if the high street is pretty dead as there are vast tracts of closed up shops. But take a drive down past those and there's some nice bars and restaurants down there, handy if a 1hr wait in a drive in queue isn't your thing

Area recommendations
Downtown Portsmouth right along the harbour is pleasant with lots of good bars and restaurants. From there you can also take the water taxi down the estuary to Norfolk which is much better than driving there especially during rush hour
