“Best bed I have ever slept on”

Very friendly staff and very comfortable hotel. Only two minor things that detracted from a near perfect stay. No black out drapes, and the shower curtain was installed incorrectly so you constantly bumped into it. Since I had to wake up early, the drapes weren't that big of a deal. I have stayed at two other popular hotels on the north end many times and enjoyed the Marriott much more hands down! Very quiet rooms also. I look forward to staying here again.

“Will go back!”

We purchased this hotel at the last minute. We were very satisfied. Services were great. View to the ocean was perfect. It was very convenient to everything. Breakfast was great also. We will stay there again!

“Jason and Jana's anniversary”

This was an 1str anniversary gift for my nephew and his wife. They were here from Arkansas for a visit and this was a great surprise. He grew up here so va beach was nothing new to him, but this was a great experience for his wife Jana. They had nothing but great things to say about your hotel. They rose early to see a magnificant sunrise off the the balcony and also enjoyed the breakfast, which was a great addition to the package. I think we has spoiled them....thanks for a memorable 1st anniversary for my nehphew.

My family had a dinner at Catch 31 and said it was FANTASTIC!. They had a little wait but the food was worth it!!!!

“nice hotel ...parking nightmare”

staff very friendly and room clean and well appointed. parking is a major issue. never any spaces available in lot in front of hotel. they do provide off-site parking a block from the hotel in a small parking garage which is not very truck / suv friendly.

“ok for busy august and south location of virginia beach.”

the location of the hotel is ideal if you plan on staying at the beach and use the boardwalk. the southern location of virginia beach is not as luxurious as the north. the hotel service was excellent. the toilet made funny noise after use and plugged easily. that was a downer for room. if i were to do it again i would stay at the north portion of virginia beach like the marriott north(didnt know there were two) or the higher end nothern hotels( likely more expensive for oceanfront). i think i would avoid august time at vb due to extreme traffic. zoo is mediocre at this time lots of sites under construction.

“Staff was so great, can't wait to go back”

It was a very busy weekend, that we stayed at the hotel(a cheerleading convention)The staff was 100% friendly and the front desk staff, personalities were so pleasant and helpful, even on a very busy time for them.
