Crowne Plaza Virginia Beach Town Center

The hotel is currently under construction/renovation- which wasn't a problem as we were there only to sleep anyways. The front desk receptionist was not very friendly when I arrived- she seemed to be reading from a script. The worst part about the hotel was the air conditioning in the room was as loud as a freight train- 2 sleepless nights just to keep it cool in the room. The coffee offered in the lobby was disgusting- and you had to pay $2.99 per cup. Overall a good location- 2 minutes from town center and 15 to the ocean front.

This is a great hotel for any business traveler. They have everything you need in the hotel. Workout facility, bar, restaurant, laundry, and a pool all on site. The hotel condition is a 3 due to renovations being done during my stay. Expedia gave me a great rate, and the staff was very accommodating and friendly.

This vacation was in celebration of my first anniversary. I was happy with my choice to stay here on such a happy occasion.

Bed and pillows were very nice. Bathroom layout was less than ideal with its in-swing door. Staff were very helpful. I wish that I had known that there was a microwave oven and a refrigerator in the room. I-264 was a couple hundred feet from the back of the hotel so there was traffic noise but it did not interfere with sleeping.

everything was great. Room was very big and clean. Close to shopping.

Terrible. The first room I stepped into the heater was rattling so badly I returned to the front desk for a new room. The second room I went into smelled like a brothel. House keeping had sprayed so much perfume into the room my eyes nearly watered. I walked into the third room I was given only to discover house keeping had left the heat on, so the room was boiling. It was so hot I turned off the heat for the rest of the night. DO NOT stay here.
