“Great Virginia Beach vacation spot!”

What a great vacation spot. We had a 2 queen bed suite. Perfect size for our family of 4. Great things for kids to do beside pools & beach. Although those were spectacular as well. Great restaurant/ bar by pool. Avoid the breakfast in hotel restaurant. To many others to compete with. Better off going off site. We will definitely be going back there for trips to the beach in the future!

“Nice view to wake up to!”

Hotel was very nice and in a good location. Very inconvient because 7 eleven was right across from the parking place. Room itself was nice and clean and comfortable. The sofa was also a good addition. The one most thing that was unforgettable was the view you would see of the beach. Anytime of the day, the view of the beach was to die for from the balcony. The only ba thing about it was when I went (patriots day), there was always A fighter jet flying above and the noise rumbled the whole room. I don't know if they do that all the time but considering there is a base near by, the jets are a daily thing. The restaurant (square whale) was not good at all. We've ordered all kinds if food and we found nothing to be good :( The pools that they have is also very nice (the lazy river) in particular was indoors so a late night swim was nice. Overall, weliked the hotel and would definitely stay there again !

“The best hotel ever”

The hotel has so many activities for kids and adults. Having different resturants located inside the hotel helped a lot. Kids eat free was the best part.

Excellent accomodations with an excellent staff. Everyone, and I mean every employee worked hard at making us feel welcome and looked after any concern with a smile and a most cheerful attitude. We will be staying there again!

“Good family hotel”

Nicely remodeled hotel with insufficient / slow elevators (a must use item when traveling with small children and a stroller). Amazing view of the ocean, helpful staff. Hotel pools were enjoyable - although the newest was still a few days away from opening. Location is a bit off the beaten path at the very end of the boardwalk.

“Holiday Inn Virginia Beach, North Beach.”

From checkin to check-out the stay was absolutely perfect. From a professional staff to a great restaurant, this hotel is excellent. I absolutely recommend it.

“HAD A GREAT STAY AT HOLIDAY INN SUNSPREE RESORT”

This vacation was very enjoyable thanks to the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort. The room was wonderful, all employees always made us feel special at the Holiday Inn and they were fantastic. We only had (1) complaint about our hotel. Most of the chairs that were at the pool were broke. In other words, the back of the chairs would not stay in the upright position. They would only recline in (1) position, FLAT! Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel to any family wanting a great and relaxing vacation. I can't wait to return to Virginia Beach and yes, I WILL BE STAYING AT HOLIDAY INN SUNSPREE RESORT!!!

“North End Retreat”

Stayed there 20 years ago and the rooms and decor have been upgraded yet the old beach feel is still there. Quiet enough if you like it that way yet only a walk to music and events. The rooms are terrific,pools were terrific, the people are friendly, and it was a lovely getaway. The new bar was a great place to relax on the oceanfront. The bartender even found my Grey Goose. Thank You for a wonderful stay.

“April, 2011”

It was a little cool when we were there for the outdoor pools (2), and the indoor pool is basically for kids only. It is about 3 foot deep and is set up like a "lazy river" ride. My husband wanted to use the hot tub, but most of the time it was filled with kids. I enjoyed walking on the board walk everyday. We have been to Virginia Beach before, but this was our first stay at the Holiday Inn North Beach. Our room was very clean and comfortable. This hotel is at the very north end of the Boardwalk. Would stay there again if we ever get to go back.

“Great escape”

Stayed here April 18th until the 21st. Much nicer than I expected. The rooms were clean and ours faced the ocean on the second floor. Check in was not until 4:00. We had driven all night from Mass. and were quite tired when we arrived at 8:30 a.m. We decided it couldn't hurt to just check and see when our rooms would be ready. What a nice surprise when they said we both could check in and our rooms were ready. This gave us the whole day to enjoy. The hotel is at the very end of the boardwalk which turned out to be the best part of Virginia Beach. The closest you got to the pier, the hotels and area looked a bit beat up. We were all very happy with the hotel and it's service. Would definitely go back.
