“Billing issues”

Although this hotel was booked and prepaid through Expedia, my employee had his personal credit card (given for incidentals) charged over $850.00 for the stay. Although they did fax documents to his bank to have the funds released, it caused serious problems for him and should never have happened given the fact that the room was prepaid. Otherwise the hotel was acceptable.

“Great location for immigration related visits to Norfolk”

Within a few blocks of the Department of Homeland Security for people coming a day early for their immigration appointments. The free breakfast is not good for diabetics, I'd recommend the House of Eggs up the street. The rooms are modern, bed comfortable, nice tv, refrigerator, microwave. Clean modern bathroom. The elevator is slow.

Dining

Several chain restaurants are in the area including H**ters (the word is considered profanity although it is the legitimate name for the restaurant). For breakfast I eat at The House of Eggs.

“Nice, clean, convenient, if you have strict budget - this is your place”

Good location, nice, clean, frendly staff, good management. If you are on business in Norfolk and need convenient business hotel for a less a night, there is nothing better. If you are on vacation and need nice outdoor pool than you need to go somewhere else, but be prepared to pay much more a night. If I have to go again in Norfolk I'll stay again at La Quinta

Close to downtown Norfolk... surrounded by lots of restaurants and shopping... short drive to the beach... room was ready 2 hours early... very clean and pet friendly

“Norfolk Neva”

The hotel staff could not have been friendlier or more accomodating. It is a great comfort to be recognized as a guest and be greeted by name when I'm staying at a place more than 2 nights. The staff was one of the best I've ever encountered.
