We were there in winter time, so the hotel was definitely doing some off season updates, but our room was very clean and as expected. Plus the staff were all very nice and helpful. Overall we were happy given the price point

The resort is older but overall clean. The resort is right on the boardwalk so our few of the ocean from our balcony was wonderful, The queen beds though are definitely not queen. We are glad we got doubles. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Overall our stay was ok. There is nothing upscale about the facility. The room was clean and the room staff did a nice job. The bath and shower were very good.with adequate soaps and towels. The bed was ok too. Nice little kitchenette and everything worked well. A couple of things I felt lacking: the TV channel selection is pretty poor. A bold notification next to the pool listing in the amenities provided stating the the pool closes after Labor Day would be helpful. After contacting BW they said this was mentioned elsewhere in there information and it was. Expedia needs highlight this also. Not having an available pool was a real disappointment. Overall though, nothing fancy but it works if your looking for a reasonably priced ocean front room with a balcony.

Hotel was secure better than most I’ve stayed in. It is somewhat dated but clean, housekeeping staff was great. This was a nice space for two people, complete with kitchenette which was nice. The bed was smaller than usual hotels I’ve been in. Mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. In general the stay was nice, would use again. Price was responsible.

Can tell the building is a little outdated, but don't let that hinder your stay! Only thing is that there wasn't good insulation at the door, i could see sunlight and heat coming through. The first night i could tell someone was smoking outside our door.

The front desk clerk Sharon when was extremely helpful and kind when checking people in. She was beside herself handling check ins and calls. She accommodated my request for a lower room. Hotel room itself is clean. Housekeeping does an amazing job when requested. Property conveniently is a short to the beach. Only down side I can say is the bed is hard for an expecting momma. Also the shower water pressure hits hard. It would be nice if we can adjust the setting.

For a mid-priced beach hotel this was pretty good. We had the bedroom suite - the bedroom doesn't have a window which is a little disconcerting at first, but it's fine. The room was very clean, and we had enough towels and blankets. The bed was comfortable with good pillows. The pullout couch was better than some I've seen, but could stand be upgraded. The room itself smelled like grease at night which was unfortunate - I didn't smell it anywhere else in the hotel and we weren't there long enough to bother asking the front desk to investigate. Minor complaints - no coffee table, not enough towel hooks, safe had no instructions and we couldn't figure it out. You can't beat the location - right on the boardwalk! We'd stay here again.

I liked that the security that was in place actually worked, like using the card key to access stairwells and elevator. Alot of hotels have these features but leave doors open

I was disappointed in the condition of the property. However, the staff was great. 1) Lobby is small & in the garage 2) Only 1 very old and sketchy/scary elevator - long wait times…in the heat 3) Entire location needs to be re-painted or at least power washed. Dirt, Spider webs with bugs everywhere. 4) Room and balcony furniture old and dirty - stained sofa. I never sat on it. Used hard stained green chairs only. 5) Balcony railing does not look and feel secure 6) No screen to balcony, couldn’t open the door to enjoy the sounds and smells of the ocean… my main reason for getting an ocean front room 7) Dishes are old and needs to be replaced 8) Bathroom tub is old and stained. Something fury growing in between the floor molding 9) Bed is unstable and noisy 10) For rainy days - Limited TV channels

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you experienced rain during your vacation. We are not able to control the weather. We are in process to relocate our front desk. While it is under construction, we are located in a small area at the back of the parking garage. All of our sofas are less than 4 months old. We Scotch guarded them when they arrived, but they do get a lot of use during the summer. The balcony railings are indeed secure. We are part of Best Western's Extended stay market. While a Best Western branded hotel does have different brand standards, and our hotel meets or exceeds all brand requirements for the SureStay brand.

The shower in my room didn’t have any water pressure and the water didn’t drain properly, so I was standing in water over my ankles whenever I tried too shower. I told the front desk, who sent up the maintenance guy and nothing changed.

I apologize for the problem you had with the drain. Maintenance did need to go get an air snake to unclog that drain.

It was right in the beach. Enough room for the 4 of us. It took way too long for the hot water to come through the faucet. A little shady walking back to the hotel from the boardwalk

Loved it!
All of the staff were very friendly! Our hotel room was clean and we loved the view! No loud music or guests. Didn't smell of smoke. It is what you get for the price. It's not very fancy, just the basics. However, it is very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend if you are looking to vacation on a budget.
