We wanted to take a trip to the beach at the last minute and had trouble finding a place to stay that we could afford, was close to Virginia Beach, and had good ratings when it came to safety and cleanliness. We got lucky and found this place the week of the trip. We paid $105 for a night, got a continental breakfast and a clean room with a very comfortable bed to stay in. The hotel is about 45 minutes away from the beachfront, an easy drive on highway 264 and you're there. We wanted to stop in the room before we went to the beach, and the staff was kind enough to let us check in about an hour before you're usually supposed to. We loved our stay and would absolutely recommend staying here if you're discouraged by so many of the other hotels' negative reviews for unclean living spaces in dangerous neighborhoods, as we were.

I came down from MD and stayed at this hotel on the 17th of May for a night. It was very conveniant to get to. I think the city needs to look into removing the median from infront of this hotel though. I'm sure it's hurting business. At first I wondered where we could eat, but then the staff informed us that we were actually only a couple miles from the downtown area and that they had a lounge and restaurant on the property too. Wish we had tried the restaurant, but we didn't. The breakfast was good though. The staff was so nice, The rooms were very clean and the price was perfect. It's just too bad the pool wasn't open yet. I'm sure the kids really enjoy it. I would definately recommend this hotel.
