Cómodo y silencioso con buena vista
Disfruté una habitación con cama king y muy buena vista al puerto (#910). Cama y área de trabajo muy cómodos y amplios, habitación silenciosa. La ubicación del hotel en el malecón es excelente, justo al lado del centro comercial Waterside y a un par de cuadras de todos los restaurantes de Granby St. y el museo Nauticus. El personal de recepción muy atento y las áreas comunes amplias y bien cuidadas. Lo único que falta mejorar es el servicio y calidad del desayuno. Aunque físicamente el restaurante está bien y tiene muy buena vista, se siente descuidado debido a la falta de meseros y calidad y variedad de comida. El buffet es muy limitado (muy parecido al de un Best Western Plus, el cual es mucho más económico que un Sheraton) con la única diferencia vs. un Best Western Plus siendo que el buffet del Sheraton Norfolk incluye un omelette pero, en mi caso, dicho omelette dejó mucho que desear. Fuera del desayuno, me pareció un muy buen hotel. Definitivamente regresaría, pero no pagaría por una habitación con desayuno incluido.

My only negative is parking, you’re somewhat forced to valet because self parking is a bit far especially if you have a lot of stuff. Otherwise excellent stay.

Nice hotel but the restaurant is not the best. Staff was friendly. Parking is $35 per night. If I knew that I would have stayed somewhere else in town. Charged twice for incidentals, never did receive a strait anwser why. Hopefully it will be refunded.

The key card system was down the entirety of our stay, we had to be escorted to our rooms anytime we left and came back. We had 4 rooms booked for work travel. We complained to the front desk that there should be some resolution, room comps, free parking something. We were given a $10.00 voucher for the restaurant. Charged full price for our rooms and parking. A real disappointment that there was not more of an effort on the hotel to make it right. Needless to say we will not be booking a stay at the Sheraton again.

Overcharge for valet
They overcharged my Visa card. I have reached out to them several times and received no response. Valet was $30-33 a night ( I can’t remember the exact amount ) but I was charged the price for a room instead of the valet prices. Will never go back to this hotel. This don’t include getting a room that took the refrigerator hours to start working and having a tv that didn’t work. We had to take 3 days of luggage and move to another room. Well they did give us free breakfast passes that we did not used because majority of the things they had was pork besides the cereal and fruits and we do not eat pork.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially Donovan.The problems I had were the parking $20 per day in a garage you have to walk to or valet parking for $25 per day. Breakfast buffet was $18.95 per person for mediocre food. With almost paying $200 per room you would think there would be something included besides wifi that we didn't use.

Was very disappointed with the hotel. It looked so nice in the pictures but it wasnt that nice in reality. The room didn't have the large bathtub like pictured on the website and the staff said they dont have those in their hotel.

Staff were amazing! We will definitely return. Food is excellent. The facility needs updating and the mattress needs to be upgraded. But the staff made our stay memorable. We travel quite a bit and stayed in hotels in the US and abroad. I can easily say that the staff in this hotel is the best this far. Special thanks to Mimi for being so gracious and made our breakfast experience wonderful!

The staff was mostly friendly. My room was nice and clean and I enjoyed the view although I paid extra for it. Everything was "pay extra" for it. The TV did not work, Breakfast was not included and it was pricey. Made the mistake ordering dinner without asking how much and payed almost $80 for a meal. There was never any fresh coffee at the coffee station, it was empty each time I stopped for a cup (3 days in a row). I don't think I'll be staying there again.

Property is in a great location but looks and feel dated. Fridge had no light. No exhaust in bathroom. HVAC was noisy. The most annoying was the smoke detector that kept flashing like lightning every minute or so all night. No parking on site. Valet parking is $35 a night - just like big city parking. I will not stay in the facility if offered to me for free. Staff were nice and very friendly.
