Pros: Right at the dock for the ferry, staff was friendly.
Cons: Shuttle to airport
Location: On the water, 1 block from park , 2 blocks to Battleship Wisconsin, Naticus Museum,
I read reviews after I had booked the room and thought I had made a big mistake. Lots of comments that it was run down and dirty. However the location is great and it was where I needed to be. During my stay I kept wondering if I was in the same place other reviewers had stayed. Seemed clean and organized, room was great, flat screen etc. Altogether a good experience and i would go back !

Pros: bed and cleanliness of room
Cons: amenities, service, pricing
Location: museum - nothing else in walking distance
room key didn't work; meals and drinks very expensive for amenities at hotel; service slow and not accommodating; no entertainment; room clean, bed very comfortable but still not worth the pricing structure given the hotel has no amenities and poor services. High School bookings made for terrible door slamming and late night noise - hotel should have been somewhat more responsive to putting guardians responsible for screaming and carrying on in the hallways past midnight.

It is unclear why we did not evict the guests that did not settle down and we certainly would have if we received a second complaint. Room was vey nice as we were overlooking the water which was a bonus. All staff was very pleasant from the time we pulled up out front until we pulled away after checkout. Room was comfortable, but a little tight with 2 queen size beds.

Great Hotel in downtown Norfolk, VA

Pros: Staff could not have been nicer especially the Valet Staff. Great Service!!!!!
Cons: make sure there is a glass bottom in the microwave. I could not use the microwave in the room because there was not a round glass bottom in it.
Location: right in the middle of downtown Norfolk, VA
The only thing I did not like was: I had made a reservation for a Harbor View KING bed room. When I arrived at the hotel they said my reservation was for 2 Queen Beds or a King Bed. That is not what my reservation stated. So I had to take a room with 2 queen beds to have a Harbor View. Very Disappointed.

The hotel is outdated and is in need of renovations. There was visible wear and tear in the room where things had been patched from leaks.

Nice location

Pros: Close proximity to downtown Norfolk. We walked out to eat the entire stay! There are many good restaurants in town as well as the hotel restaurant.
Cons: free internet.
Location: Town Pointe Park is just a few steps away. The Chrysler is a short drive and FREE. And if you are interested in the Navy, take a tour!
We checked in on a Friday for a 2 night stay while moving our daughter back to ODU for the fall. Parking for the hotel is in the lot nearby and we only paid $8 a day, a steal compared to some hotels in cities. Our room was nice but I think the furniture could be rearranged to make the space more user friendly. Also, I was very surprised we had to pay for the Internet connection. So I may tell a friend we stayed at your hotel, but I would also have to tell them about the internet.

Good luck on room service

Left the hotel at 8:30 am and spend the day at the beach. Arrived at the hotel after 5:30 pm and we never got room service. I called down for some clean towels and they said they would be right up. 40 minutes later I had to go out and get my own towels. Talked to manager and their excuse was "They are being lazy today"

Convenient location, poor condition

Pros: Good location, staff was courteous--especially in the hotel restaurant. The food there was good. Spacious room, would probably be good for families.
Cons: Rooms in desperate need of renovation.
Location: Next to a sketchy, defunct Waterside pavilion. But very close to excellent shopping mall.
I booked this hotel based on location and the assumption that the Sheraton brand meant it would be in good condition. I was shocked by the poor condition of my room--it was dingy and quite worn. There were stains and scuff marks on the chairs and sofa. The desk and wall decor had cracks in them. Scuff marks all over the walls. Dodgy plumbing. Also, the walls were paper thin. I was around the corner from the elevator, and could hear the cable mechanism deploying everytime it went up or down. I could hear the guy in the next room horking up phlegm when he brushed his teeth. It was gross. I would not stay here again, nor would I ever recommend it to anyone else.

First vist to Norfolk, Va.

Pros: Clean room, good bar, valet service, Air Conditioning!!
Close proximity to USS Wisconsin, Norfolk Tides, McCarthur Mall, and Gramby St.
