“Great Escape!”

Beautiful hotel and perfect location. Very friendly service. The children had a fantastic time being able to play on the beach then retire in the outdoor pool! Tons of restaraunts and shops within walking distance. Definitely coming back!

“Great choice in VA Beach”

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff were extremely friendly throughout our stay. They offered complimentary valet parking for our car and had good recommendations for nearby restaurants and things to do.

“Very relaxing/romantic getaway”

Over Labor Day weekend, my wife and I went on a short getaway here. We stayed on the top floor with and oceanview. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room beautifully decorated. The restaurant was also very nice. All of the staff members were extremely polite and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a romantic getaway!

“Would definitely stay there again”

The hotel was very clean and they were constantly painting and keeping up with the maintenance. I was incredibly impressed with the hotel staff who were very friendly and helpful. One night my son got sick and I thought that I may either need an ambulance or to find the nearest hospital. At 3am, the staff was making phone calls, printing directions and doing whatever they could to help with my situation. The staff even knew my kids by name after a couple days. The beach was not too crowded where we were, either. Would highly recommend this hotel. More expensive than most in VA beach, but worth it.

“My 22nd Birthday!”

My friends and I drove down from NYC and we had a great time. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is extremely pleasant! My friends and I bad breakfast at the hotel and it was delicious (try and visit Pocahontas Pancakes). The location was great! The pools at the hotel were clean and big. I can't wait to come back and stay for longer :)!

“Ben's Quick Getaway to Virginia Beach”

Hotel is in a great location. Room was very clean and had beautiful ocean view. The staff were all very friendly. The kids loved the beach, the bike rentals, indoor pool and outdoor pool. A few things the hotel can work on - need free accessable wireless all throughout the hotel, not just in the lounge. The indoor pool needed a better cleaning. The outdoor pools claimed to be 81 degrees, but given this was April, they were definitely not heated and 81 degrees! but luckily we had beautiful weather and the kids played in the ocean and pool anyway!

“Great People”

The service was great and a great area and hotel as far as hospitality and anything that you needed even if it was pancakes on the buffet for breakfast they got it for you. Although as far as breakfast, I would have thought the breakfast would have been free. Overall besides that its great!!

“Lets do it again next year”

My favorite part of the whole trip was lounging around the pool with some cocktails. The bar staff at the pool was amazing, we were treated like kings.

“FANTASTIC STAFF”

my husband and I as well as our 8 year old son and 12 year old daughter stayed at the hotel the weekend of May 4-6, 2012. The staff was FANTASTIC. Always smiles, very willing to help with a smile and the best vallet men! The hotel was was under construction, but it certainly was NOT an inconvenience. The hotel is ocean front and had great morning view from our balcony of the ocean. The beds were very comfortable, all of us slept right through the night. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for good rates on rooms, given location. THE STAFF can not be beat!! To the men who vallet our car...YOU were a pleasure to deal with! My only wish if we stayed again is a nice full comp. breakfast. Its always nice just to stay in your own hotel and eat that early in the morning! WE loved seeing all the well behaved pets allowed. Pets are part of the family and we were very happy to see a hotel that appreciated pets that! I just wish I knew! We would have brought ours ;o). Beach Movie theatre was awesome, They serve food right in your seats with wait staff, and YES they have a bar...GREAT MOVIE EXPERIENCE! Thanks again. The Brislin Family

“Not bad at all - but not the Sheraton you used to...”

It's definitely not the Sheraton's class hotel you probably used to, but the room was very nice, small (for king size), but very clean, everything was new, except the TV, bathroom small, but enough for two of us. Room service was great & invisible. I like the sound proofing, since there were a lot of children in the hotel & I didn't hear any of them. Internet is not for free in your room ($10/day ATT), but if you go downstairs with your laptop, you can use it without paying anything or you can use one of four desktop PCs they got in the bar + printer for free as well. Restaurant & bar are so-so, breakfast is definitely not recommended to have in there. Also they got 2 outdoor pools, one with the bar & kid's zone, but there is surprisingly no umbrellas & no option to attach your own one - therefore it's pretty hot to stay out there. Indoor pool is good enough by the way. Valet is terrible - you can wait for your car forever, so we just kept the keys & got it by ourselves, since the parking lots are just across the street. Keep in mind that they don't have indoor parking, so your car inside is a kind of frying pan every morning! Boardwalk is right here, so you can easily get to the center of party at 21st street (about 15 min walking distance). Also there is a bike rental downstairs. Beach is great, clean, with lifeguards & not that many people on it compare to 21st street & so on.
