“Easy Access to Beach - Nice Hotel”
Love this hotel. We have stayed there twice now, and will do again all next summer. We like to stay in Chesapeake and then drive to Sandbridge beach... it's an easy commute. This hotel is clean, staff is friendly, breakfast is decent, but most importantly the rooms are nice. The kitchenette is a bonus. And the proximity to dining, shopping, and the highway is a bonus, too. Love it.
“Restful Weekend Getaway”
This hotel was such a dramatic shift from some of the places we've stayed lately. We love the convenience of having a kichenette/kitchen in our hotel rooms, but often it really limits which hotels we can choose. We either end up staying at a traditional hotel and spending way more money on eating out, or staying in a really cheap hotel that is just not up to our quality standards. The stay at the Staybridge Suites was just such a breath of fresh air. The front desk staff was friendly, efficient, and pleasant. The rooms are clean, large, and nicely appointed. The pool and hot-tub (which was a little hot) were clean and open late! Perfect for a little relaxation before bed. The breakfast buffet was average, but good; although you do have to get there early to really have a full selection. Once they run out, they tend to not restock. Anyway! We're staying there again in 2 weeks; made this reservation our first night there, we were so impressed.
“Great Value Exceptional Staff”
We had a few minor issues. There was no bedding for the pullout bed and the ironing board was broken but the staff responded quickly and were very friendly.
“Definetly a mainstay for travelers”
This was our first family vacation so it was very important to stay at a hotel that had ensuite accomodations for ages 5-75. In-house movie theatre, pool/sauna, full kitchen, and even outdoor gas grill and popcorn maker in the movie theatre.
“A Home away from home”
I chose this hotel after reading many reviews. I was a little hesitant after reading one review about the cleanliness. We arrived and our room was very clean. The beds were some of the the most comfortable beds I have every slept in on a trip. The kitchen had a dishwasher, full fridge,stove, microwave and basic dishes. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The two separate rooms were great. We never heard "neighbor noise" through the walls. It was the most quiet hotel I have ever stayed at. We did not cook, but it was nice for restaurant left-overs. The staff was great including the breakfast server. She was very attentive and it was always well-stocked. Breakfast included: eggs, sausage, bacon, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, oatmeal/grits, biscuits and gravy, waffles, toast, rolls, ..It was much more than we were expecting. They do serve dinner on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights, but we were never in the hotel at that time. They also have free washer and dryers. The one complaint was that one of the dryers was out of order. I usually don't do laundry on a trip, but after going to the beaches - it was nice. I highly recommend this hotel.

“Amazingly Clean”
I was quite impressed with the overall cleanliness of the Staybridge Suites in Chesapeake. In addition to that, the decor of the hotel and the room were both very sharp. The only thing that was lacking was housekeeping (couldn't get towels, toilet paper, etc. even when requested at the front desk).
