The whole room was filthy. Dirt around the floor against every wall rusted lamps cobwebs with dead bugs, black things in all the drawers ice frozen in the freezer to the bottom mold around the bathtub soap holder, unremovable soap, holders, empty the toilet was so close to the tub, you could not use it.

Wasn’t thrilled with the restroom being split up. Toilet and shower off the bedroom, and sink in the hallway. A big inconvenience having everyone come through the bedroom to use the bathroom. Entire room needs updating. Floors were poorly swept.

Would not recommend
Check in was not friendly at all. Just pay your security deposit and I was warned not to smoke, which I don't anyway. Got to the room and could hardly stand the smell. It was like a bunch of wet dogs were living there. The room was not clean, the bathroom was gross. The tv was very small, but I could live with that. The place seems to bring a lot of loud people that were making a racket and banging on doors until 2am.

After we checked in and went to our room the floors was wet, room was colder than outside, door latch for safety was broken off, and the sofa bed was not comfortable at all

Room cleanness was horrible... the floor was dirty and full of send and pubic hair in the living room, bathroom and bedroom... I requested to have the floor vacuumed and mopped in day that I checked in but they didn't send a cleaning crew till the third day. I requested a wake up call at 510am to catch a flight and they never called. The locals call the hotel as "roach hotel" but the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. I was there for 5 nights for Thanksgiving by myself. I do not recommend if you planning to stay with family. Staff was OK.

Perfect location. Friendly staff on all shifts. The suite was really cute, Perfect oceanfront views. The only cons: it was cold in the suite at check-in and the heating units were not on, so we had to wait for the heat to get pumping. The other cons is that the floors felt unswept and gritty and the wet bar sink dripped continuously. Other than that, it was a beautiful stay.

We were not notified until we got there that they did not have housekeeping services, so, we had to sweep our own floors, and go to the front desk for towels, coffee, etc. the bathroom stool was very cramped close to the bathtub. What we loved was the patio, beach view, the two rooms, and fantastic location.

Hotel in disrepair
Pros: beachfront property, water pressure in shower was good. Cons: room advertised as having a soaking tub which wasn’t true, toilet was installed too close to bathtub and no room for your legs, mold around the tub, hotel not well maintained. There was a pile of dog food out in the parking lot for 3 days, so strange and felt like an example of lack of care by management of hotel.

Everything had a layer of ick, hair in the bathtub, gritty floors. Had no idea the kitchen had zero dishes, silverware, pots, or pans. What's the point if you have to bring your kitchen with you?

The room was musty smelling. Sand EVERYWHERE, counter tops were sticky, bathroom was TINY. We couldn’t get over the feeling of in not being clean. At checkout we asked for our $50 cash deposit back, they had to check the room first (no big deal) they came back to say we should’ve taken the trash with us ( only a to go cup and some napkins were in the trash bin). They informed us they would give us the $50 this time but if we stayed with them again to take our trash out. Hello, what is housekeeping for? I’ve never been told from any other hotel to take out the trash!

CAUTION
Don't go by the pictures on-line. They are very deceiving, about 20 years old. Small little toilet that you had to sit sideways because the tub was in the way. Air conditioning units not very good at cooling room(thankfully it wasn't too hot at side). drop ceiling with two different tiles & rusty. Over all this property has not been well maintained. Elevator squeaked and overall some smells. WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. BEWARE

All I can say is I have never had to clean a hotel room before. It's a good thing that I own a cleaning company and had all of my supplies with me. Every surface had to be wiped down, mirrors and sliding sopr had to be cleaned floors had to be swept and mopped(no carpet for which I was thankful that I didn't have to haulu vacuum cleaner to the room). There was sand in the bathtub. The toilet and sink were the only areas that appeared to have been cleaned although I cleaned them anyway just to be safe. The baseboards and edges of floor hadn't been cleaned in years judging by the accumulation of dirt. It was truly disgusting. I took a video of the floors because I wanted proof of the level of neglect. Thankfully I also brought my own bedding(because of personal preferences) as the sheets smelled musty. When I pulled the bed away from the wall in order to change the sheets I found trash which made it obvious that the staff did the least amount of cleaning as was humanly possible. Also the hot water was barely lukewarm, and the reception on both televisions was so fuzzy I could barely see it. I used my Roku the whole time and found it odd that there was no problem with screen quality with it. Complaints were lodged with hotel staff, Expedia, and the Wyndham Hotels corporation with no immediate solution offered. Never again will I use any of the entities.

Great location right on the beach with balcony and ocean view. Small kitchenette was good. Beds fair. Tiny bathroom. Small outside pool with parking lot view. Only one parking spot per room- not emphasized at check-in, which resulted in 1 of our cars being towed!

I liked that it was on the beach, the hotel is in desperate need of renovation and the night club across the street playing LOUD music until 2 AM is probably the worst thing, the room was dirty and the toilet worked sometimes. I would not recommend. I will not stay again.

I booked this hotel for one night for my sister and my granddaughter to spend one night at a beachfront property. While I understand this is a bargain facility, the place was sandy, musty, dirty and in ill-repair. My sister went to the desk immediately and asked to be re-situated and the clerk, after shrugging off her complaint took her to another room that was equally as unacceptable. There was no cleaning staff on duty so she asked for cleaning materials so that she could scrub the room herself. I have been a wyndham rewards memeber, as well as several other of the hotel chain groups IHG, MARRIOTT etc.) AND i CHOSE THIS ONE BECAUSE OF LOCATION. The situation was exacerbated wihen my sister asked for a discount or rebate and was told she could leave and find another hotel for the night! I am very disappointed with the property and the desk clerk's handling of the situation, although It is clear that the whole building is a mess. I will followup with a formal complaint to Travellodge customer service and let this complaint be a notice to Hotels.com.

Bathroom is hilarious. No space between the toilet and the tub. Ants crawling from one room to another. Rusted microwave and clogged sink. No room service for 3 days straight. Towels are dirty and i didn't want to take a chance with the bed. Bought bed sheet sets to cover the bed .

I was very shocked at how gross the bathroom was. The toilet’s literally almost touch the bathtub and my 3 year old child couldn’t fit his tiny leg between the toilet seat and the shower! The floors were gross, the sink was clogged and the people at the front desk refused to give us sufficient towels for our room and when we asked for a clean sheet we were told it wasn’t available.

For an Ocean front hotel it is not up to par! The front desk staff are not very friendly and rude at times depending on who was there. One elevator that barely worked. Towels were dirty had to request new ones the whole week. They told us to put them outside of our room and they laid in the hall for 2 days until I told them no one had picked them up. The bathrooms are super small toilet is almost in the bathtub!!! But as far as the rest of the room it was okay and the view was stunning.

One small, very slow elevator for the entire property. Dirty bedding and when we brought them down and asked for replacements they said they didn’t have any! Honestly, just filthy! The view, shopping, restaurants and atmosphere surrounding the property were spectacular.

The building needs major upgrades. It looks like it hasn't been updated since the 80's. There were hairs in our shower, garbage behind the couch, sand on the floor, and the wifi only worked sporadically. I would not saty here again, even if it was free.

Worst hotel ever
One of the worse place I ever stayed. Horrible cleaning the ceiling was rusted the bathroom so nasty smells so bad the sheets was stain. I’m am never coming back to this hotel again.

Our overall stay was decent! The property definitely needs to be updated...I was surprised to walk in and find the living room was updated with laminate flooring instead of carpet like the pictures showed. The bathroom is super tiny and very hard to use the bathroom and shower...they almost touch each other. The staff was super nice and very helpful when we came back late Saturday night and there was no parking available. I would definitely stay here again but just wish they would do some updates first. The view from the room was gorgeous!
