Austin is a nice placePosted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: Convenience. Knowledgeable staff that can recommend things to do in the area.
Cons: The hotel is exactly as described and is a real value to the business traveler.
Location: Lots of things to do within a few miles of the interstate.
Nice hotel, near the airport and near downtown. Right off of the interstate. Side trip to LBJ Library with no difficulty.

Clean and modern hotel close to downtown AustinPosted Feb 23, 2015
Recently renovated hotel with really clean rooms and restrooms. Hot showers, mini fridge, microwave, lots of storage, and fairly quiet location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was a little crazy but overall our experience was great!

Great stay in Austin. Close to university and nicePosted Jan 12, 2015
Staff was friendly and the beds were very comfy. The workout room was very handy and the area around the hotel seemed safe and lots of nice sidewalks to walk on.

Beware: Not a standard Hampton experiencePosted Dec 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
Have stayed almost exclusively at Hampton brand hotels for a while because of their staff, amenities and cleanliness. After enjoying probably nearly a dozen of their properties all across the country, this was BY FAR the most run down of them all. Pros: - Staff was amazing, friendly and helpful, consistent with other Hamptons. - Evening cookies and snacks. - Convenient location near freeway in North Austin. Cons: - MAJOR renovation needed. Rooms and facilities feel dank and old. Carpet is nasty. - Small lobby area. Other Hamptons have wide open spaces that comfortably accommodate breakfast and socializing. - Dirty outdoor pool. No hot tub. - Breakfast. Sad to find meat and cheese pre-mixed into eggs and potatoes. Not sure if Hampton or Texas to blame though. All in all, not the worst hotel ever but definitely will be making accommodations elsewhere next time I'm in Austin.

Hampton overall a good stayPosted Dec 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
Good service from staff. Good breakfast. Maids threw away some receipts I had on the bureau, but otherwise good maid service. The bed was lumpy, but not bad. Location along highway a bit sketchy, but didn't feel like care would get broken into. Typical highway location. Hampton came through.

Comfortable beds. That is enough to use the hotel again.
