Nice hotel

Posted Sep 8, 2014
We stayed here for a few days. The location is great since it is right on the beach. It has a pool that's almost on the beach! The staff was great! You could tell they strive to be a high star resort! While the hotel was recently updated, there are little things that could use some touch ups. Overall-We enjoyed ourselves.

Great location but wasn't what I expected

Posted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: Good buffet breakfast and literally next to the beach
Cons: Cleanliness and new pillows!
Location: Not much but Falmouth is 8 km away and has great restaurants and cafes
Great location and views but had more of a holiday camp feel. The rooms were OK, they were pretty basic and not that clean - the pillows were the worst part though, lumpy and they smelt bad. Staff were very friendly however lots of foreign students there over the summer who couldn't always help or answer a question - they did try their best though. I think this would be great for families but not so good for couples and I wished we'd stayed in Falmouth as this was a bit too far away from restaurants and cafes.

Perfect get away

Pros: The staff and accommodations were very good,
Cons: The lighting for the entrance sign on Quaker Road.
Location: The town was close by with quaint shops and good restaurants.
Visiting the Sea Crest Beach Hotel was a last minute decision due to family illness. The hotel staff was outstanding and the place was right on the beach, as advertized, with an awesome view. The only downside was their sign on Quaker Road was not very visible in the fog. A light or two might be a good suggestion. We hope to be able to return again in the near future.

The waiters and waitresses were amazing!!!!

All of the waiters/waitresses were kind to my kids. Steve, with the Jamaican accent, was so awesome one night that I requested him the next. All of the people from front staff to cleaning were so kind. Great job.

short escape on the beach 08/21

Location: we enjoyed the nearby villages.. Woodshole, mishpee, and Falmouth center.. Nice restaurants and very ice shops..
We would rate the hotel 8/10. The ocean view room that we requested was right on top,of the pool, where children were screaming all day. That was a disappointment. Our room was two stories up, No elevators and no air conditioning in the stairs. Very uncomfortable . We enjoyed the beach, the personnel, the restaurants and the overall stay.

Incredible ocean front view with several problems

Posted Aug 24, 2014
The Hotel and Expedia failed to be in synch with one another as I had requested a rollaway bed to accommodate 5 adults in one room. This had all been confirmed at the time of booking, more than two months before the stay. It was incredibly stressful and we wasted several hours to straighten it out and ended up with a blow-up mattress. At over $400 a night, this is inexcusable. In addition, we stayed in an old wing of the Hotel in a room that was "less then." I had stayed at the Hotel the previous summer in a nicer room and less expense. Unfortunately, much too disappointing to return.

first time stay; very pleased

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: everything
Cons: first day; could not get towel for beach because staff said they were all out. It was, however, late in the day.
we had a super time at your resort. cannot thank staff enough. beach was perfect for swim or walk. had hard time finding from map. you should mention somewhere on your brochures/website that you are on Old Silver Beach because there are signs for it, which would help to get there.
