“Surprising Little Find”

Hallmark was so much better than I thought. travelling with a female colleague I wanted to ensure security and safety as well as cleanliness, and some hotels in the region are a little hit and miss. We were overwhelmed by what we found, nice staff - very nice actually!, great food, great rooms. I travel a LOT and I found this place to be much more than it said on the website or promotion material. Well done on doing a hotel at the right price for a business person, with the right conditions, service, food and location.

“Great choice when staying in Hull.”

Very nice hotel. Conveniently close to Hull but much nicer locale. Only complaints--no clock/clock radio in the room and no thermostat so we found the room got very warm but luckily we could open the windows. The staff were very polite and helpful. The food was very good--we had a couple of breakfasts and one late night meal. Very good value for money. It seems they host a lot of weddings at the hotel so it could be noisy, but we fully enjoyed two nights of fireworks displays outside our window along the river!

Arrived at the hotel and was put off instantly by the look of the place. It looks like butlins. Inside very nice. Bar is very small and not enough seats in the place. Rooms are tiny. I changed rooms within an hour because they were ants coming in through window crack. THIS IS NOT 4 STAR!! 3 at best. I'd recommend premier inn or holiday inn over this. Also bar is well over priced
