Nice, relaxing stay. Nice beach. Good food. Great staff; especially Sergio, Jesus, Cesar, Lupita, Luis, Raphael, Suri, Juan and the activities coordinators.
Offer more package options other than all inclusive.

Check In was swift and courteous. The rooms are very clean. Found the beds comfortable. Staff is very helpful. As an experienced traveler, I avoided the Time Share trap by courteously but firmly declining any invitation. The Gym is more than adequate for a good workout. Like the pool set up running down the center of the complex. Convenience Store connected to the Hotel is right next door. Easy access to the bus. The bus system is great. Downtown in 10 minutes. There is a shopping center across the street. Very satisfied . Would go back.

I have nothing to complain about this hotel. Everything was perfect, super clean, the staff was so friendly and always there for whatever we needed. Best customer service I ever experienced!! I would definitely recommended someone to stay there or stay there again myself.

Our second time staying here and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. The staff are ridiculously friendly and accommodating, the food, for an all-inclusive, is excellent, especially the reservation-required restaurants and the drinks do not stop coming! The only drawback would be the too hard pillows...other than that we both love this place and the people

Stayed for the second time at this family-friendly resort. We had an excellent time, as before.
Rooms are fine. Beds are comfortable, housekeeping got us additional pillows quickly. Great bathtub.
Staff is excellent and very happy to please (for the most part).
Bars - what can you say, unlimited alcohol, friendly to the kids, quick service.
Food. Buffet leaves a bit to be desired, probably the worst part of our stay. However, I found that by eating at the buffet in the a.m. (love the omelets), at the beach snack area for lunch (excellent burgers and fries), and making reservations for the better restaurants in the evenings, we had no complaints about the food. The French restaurant was definitely the best and the Italian was good also. The staff remembered us from one night to another and were very kind to all of us.
Swimming facilities were fine and the beach was very well kept. If you go during busier times, expect more crowds. This time of year it seemed that maybe 75% of the guests were natives from other parts of Mexico on vacation with their kids. Another part of the year, you may have spring break crowds. Give me the families any day!
If you expect quiet beach or pool time, go somewhere else. If you want a 5-star hotel, go somewhere else (and pay for it). This is a great, easy-going hotel experience for families who just need a break.

We didn't want to stay close to downtown and I felt this was a perfect location. Walking distance to stores but not on the Malecon and not too far like zone 3-4. Short and easy bus ride to downtown when needed. Every one was super nice. It wasn't a 5 star resort and we weren't expecting that so it was nice for what we paid. Food was good not great but again we didn't stay here for that, we preferred going down the street for local taco stands. Overall greAt, I plan on staying here again in another year or so.
This was my 5th time staying at the Friendly. Had a great time as usual. Staff work very hard to make your stay a great one. Love the new furniture in the lobby and the restaurants. Food was good as usual.

Los tules was a pretty good place to stay. It was right on the beach which was nice. Our room faced the neighbouring hotel and I found it loud a lot of the time. They played loud music. The room was clean and nice but the beds and pillows were a little too hard. If I stayed there again I would bring my own pillow. The staff was nice and helpful.

Large resorts dominate the Hotel Zone, arguably the center of Puerto Vallarta tourism. This area includes the Maritime Terminal, where cruise ships dock. Across the street, visitors can see authentic bullfights at La Paloma Bullring. Like its southern half, the North Hotel Zone’s main attraction is the crescent-shaped bay. Water sports are in abundance, as are restaurants, bars, and shops.
