Good and Bad

The staff at this motel were above and beyond nice and helpful....and the location was great for us... The problem was the pool was ice cold because the heater was broken.. The lamps between the beds didn't work and we ran out of hot water mid shower... It heated back up quickly for the next person to shower, then it would go cold in the middle of that shower too! Rooms were very clean... The building just needs a few maintanace problems!

Disappointing hotel

Cons: No smoking, a proper breakfast offered. Better Control of pets.
Location: We did not look for anything near by.
There was a sign saying the hotel was under renovation but it was still unacceptable. First on the Expedia web site it did not say it was under renovation, or that the hotel was pet friendly. These are issues that should be brought to the publics attention. The wifi did not work on our room, I had to sit in the lobby to use my computer. Wifi is one of the amenities I require during my stay. We had dogs barking through the night in the room next to us and women talking very loudly out side our door at 1:30 in the morning. The breakfast offered was very poor. The attendant was very good but the food offered was not. There was no fruit or yogurt. The biggest problem for us was the smokers right outside the entrance door. This was very offensive to us. We had to walk through this smoking when entering and exiting the hotel. There were benches out side the entrance doors of the hotel and it was a beautiful evening it would have been nice to sit outside, unfortunately these benches were full of smokers. I would personally like to offer my sincerest apologies for every inconvenience you faced while staying with us. We have worked very rapidly and diligently to address every concern. Your feedback did not fall on deaf ears. All wi-fi issues have been addressed as well as introducing yogurt and several other items into our breakfast menu to better appease our guest. Those issues definitely aren't Days Inn standard and we are doing everything in our power to improve our guest's quality of stay.

Don't book this hotel

Pros: nothing it was awful
Cons: everything... maybe lose the dog as a greeter for the lobby. The lobby person was nice but not professional. not what you expect from a national chain
I booked this hotel through Expedia and it was horrible. So bad we did not stay any of the nights booked. The oder in the room was like wet dogs had been staying there. While I have stayed at pet friendly hotels before...none smelled like this. There were stains all over the floor and bed skirt... the bed spead was such a pattern you could not tell if there were stains on it or not... with the way the rest of the room looked and smelled I did not trust the cleanliness. There was a paper sign on the entry door of the lobby that said "excuse our mess we are renovating." It looked like it had been on the door for years as it was torn, tattered and faded. There were many dogs (5) that we encountered in the short 15 minutes that we were on site. Rooms with double beds should not have more than 4-5 guests in them... the room beside us had at least 10 people in the room, while most were kids... the loud voices and crying was over the top. (we came up on the elevator with many of them from their use of the indoor pool). I had to return to the lobby to have my key re-set as it did not work when we got to the room. My 18 yr old daughter observed several more people enter the room next to us. Being in Knoxville for an early appointment I need to insure we received a restful nights sleep... being that we could hear every word in the room next to us through the bathroom vent it was at that time I decided we would no be staying at this hotel. It was awful! Don't book save your money!!!!!!!

hotel under repair

Pros: It's location was easily accessible to the interstate highway
Cons: Better computer support in lobby would be nice
The hotel was undergoing a renovation at the time of our stay so conditions were not ideal. Also, though there was a computer available in the lobby, it was not connected to a printer so I could not print out driving directions I searched for on Mapquest.

Bad experience

Pros: nothing
was there two nights . Tv would not work and they never did any thing about it .Toilet ran over ot floor .I asked for another room and was told there were non vacant . I had my wife call to see if they had vacant rooms and found they had lied . good by Days End never again .

Dirty, smelly and not worth it

Cons: Staff could know a little about the town then do business in; housekeeping needs training; don't advertise a good breakfast- it's not good
The room was filthy- smelled like a month old ashtray, stains on the sheets, coffee pot was dirty, the tub had mold on the caulking, the sink hadn't even been wiped off. It was not worth the stay. The room was relatively cheap, but I still expected a clean room for the night. I felt so dirty after leaving. I'll never stay at at Days Inn again- rather sleep in my car at a rest stop. To be perfectly honest...

Nice hotel for young single people w/out children

If you have children staying with you dont expect them to get any sleep. Very noisy i could hear the people next door talking and everytime they flushed their toilet. Pool was too crowded for small children the big kids/adults were WAY to rowdy with small kids in there. Breakfast was a joke no yogurt like the menu said no butter for toast gravy like wallpaper paste and stale cereal. When we got there at 8 (breakfast started at 6) there was no milk out. Had to ask an employee for it. The breakfast room was so cramped you couldn't hardly move.

Needs work

Pros: Good location.
Cons: Upgrade all the faciities. The room was ok but did not include a fridge or microwave.
Location: Good and plenty of restaurants near by.
Definitely needs a face lift. The sign says "under construction" but the halls need work and areas like the pool and ice machine need signs. Only one person at the desk and she was very busy with the phone and another guest.

Internet didn't work

Internet didn't work when I called the first time she said might have to turn off iPad then turn on wouldn't work, then I called 5 or 6 times got automated message they wouldn't answer the phone. Clock on the night stand wasn't plugged up, tissues in the bathroom wasn't in the holder was just on the counter. Beds slept great just wasn't what I expected.

Stay Away

If you enjoy not having a shower in the morning because there is no hot water and wifi that doesn't work, then this is place for you!
